lol can i put newly rooted clones under a 400w hps? i also have an older bulb that may be less intense.. any suggestions?

not the hairs... the little crystals are trichomes. they start out clear then go cloudy and finally amber. you can get a mini microscope at radioshack for 10 bucks you will be able to tell with that

you only need to veg 24/7 for unrooted clones 18/6 for veg

if the move isnt far id just transplant them at the new place.. risky but the only other way is to get lights and put on 12/12

i use those one time use dental floss picks. just burn off the string and heat plastic to shape it...works great for me

look like mold. you need to cover those cubes.. they sell lids...or you can just plant them a little lower in the basket pot

yeah a nice t5 for 2 plants is only 100 bucks it has 2 bulbs but i have the 4 for 125... if you could get her to let you grow 2 more you could buy 2 lights and harvest every 4.5 weeks

id go with t5s then no heat and barley uses any electric pretty sure you can flower with them too just switch the bulbs to a red spectrum....how many plants do u plan on growing?

yeah make sure u cover that cube..if it gets too much light it will mold and switch light to 18/6

i know alot of people on RIU use cfls if thats what u mean. They have blues for veg and reds for flowering...id perfer t5 for veg and hps for flowering

so i was originally gonna get a 250 watt mh but after some riu advise i bought a four bulb t5. its just for my 4 mothers...im still a little skeptical about the t5, what do u guys think? do u think i could put some newly rooted clones under it too? just to veg for a week or so

need to get light for my mommys only need 4 what kinda light would be best?
