If you got big pots they hold more water in the medium, thus providing water for you plants longer, but also you flowering and flowering plants drink more IMO. so i think you will be ok but they will look thirsty no doubt....

Those things are crap... you have to make your soil into mud for them to work properly.. trust me just start with PH'd soil (ie any good brand, fox farm comes to mind) and PH'd your water, bam! your ph is correct... unless you go and water with fucked up water you will never have a ph problem...
