You can buy rolls of the stuff from stores like Lowes and Home depot, I'm not sure what it's normally used for but just ask one of the people there and they should be able to find it for you.
Edit: the stuff I'm talking about will look like a roll of clear wrapping paper.
You can water every day if your medium drains well. With a waterlogged plant, ya gotta lay off the water for a while. Just for next time make sure you have plenty of drainage holes and use extra perlite.
It's your plant do with it as you wish. I get tired of hearing people talk shit when I have lower popcorn buds drying. "BUT YOU HAVE TOWAIT UNTIL IT"S FINISHT OMG YOU NUB" Where as anybody who actually knows what they are talking about knows that lower popcorns never amount to anything except...
I'd get a roll of plastic and some sturdy sticks to make a frame, then go to town. This should atleast get you through the last couple weeks of the plant's life. If a huge cold front comes in and it's cold for multiple days in a row, I'm not so sure. Being in Florida, we hardly have to deal with...
I'd top them before you switch them to 12/12 and start asap. Most plants I've grown pack on some serious weight during the last two weeks of flowering.
I flowered a little tiny one last winter in a pill bottle. It got almost a foot tall before flowering set in full so I'm assuming you could get it pretty decent sized. After seeing multiple dixie cup grows and having a male make 4ft in a dixie cup, it makes me wanna see how big I can get in the...
Gud genetics, you can't go wrong with that superstar lineup. I've never gotten to grow OG but I have tried Afghani and a few Skunk varieties. I still have the Afghani around in clone form, it's fantastic. The leaves have a blueish tint, I love it!
Are you in a place where you could construct a makeshift greenhouse out of some clear plastic? I always forget that not everybody can put their plants in a greenhouse when it gets too cold to grow outside. I flower all the way through the winter in the roof of my greenhouse.
Why are you so intent on starting them to flower early? They'll flower on their own if you just give them time. Everything started flowering here within the last week or so.
Safe female seeds are one of those things you probably won't be able to make by yourself. The companies that sell fem seeds have been breeding that plant to be a female for years. You're better off just using a mother and taking clones. There are some chemicals people say you can use to...
Just read a few threads on the organics forum about making compost tea, there is no shortage of threads on it. The way I do it, is take a gallon of rain water and set it out in the sun. Then I add about a tablespoon of worm castings, tablespoon of cow manure, and molasses. It cooks in the sun...
I have a bagseed woman we sprouted a couple seasons ago that I still keep around in clone form. We're just starting to flower outside here so all I have are veg pictures. I'm certain it's a seedbank strain of some sort that got accidentally pollinated. Easiest plant I've ever grown to take care...
