I use a DIY aero cloner using tap water at about 300ppm (0.6 EC) and add calcium hypochlorite (pool shock) at 0.01g/gal 2x/week. Change out water every other week. No pH adjustment. No temperature management. Mists for 15 minutes every 2 hours. 23w 5000K CFL @ 18/6. Close to 100% success so far.

Could be UV burn. Move that plant into the shade and as SPLFreak said, slowly introduce them to sunlight. Start at 1 hour a day and increase an hour each day.

I made a 1/2" pvc rectangle around my plant with around 25x 1/16" holes evenly spaced around. I use a 264 gal/hour el-cheapo water pump. I don't ever see dry spots within the "spray zone" when I check.

Just make sure the water is well aerated and you should be good to go.

Doesn't the HLG-80H-12A only goes down to 10.8V? Series or parallel... sharing current or sharing voltage... either way man.

When I used these in the past I tore off the bottom half of them. I don't know if it made any difference. If I were to use them now, I would plant the whole thing. It would be less shock to the roots and help maintain a nice dense center root ball.

I was having problems with my current grow in early veg. I was adding cal+mag+iron to my RO+DI to get 0.3 EC then rhino shin to get to 0.4 EC. Then I added megacrop until I got to 1.2 EC. pH swings like crazy... I kept adjusting pH to get to around 5.8. Plant got a little fried... got some...
