    Why T5's instead of LED's?

There are tradeoffs for both. LEDs are more efficient can target spectrums great and last many years. They have a much higher initial cost. Fluorescents have a nice full spectrum that can output UV are inexpensive and easy to acquire. Not as efficient as LEDs. As LED pricing, availability...

    Co2 and heat

If you look at the 2 charts above, the top one states max photosynthesis occurs around 37*C (99*F) leaf temp, the bottom one states max photosynthesis occurs around 44*C (111*F) leaf temp in C3 plants... that's a huge difference... unfortunately the data doesn't seem to be consistent but it...

    Co2 and heat

Yeah, no need to go over 1500ppm... 80*F is fine w/ CO2... can go higher... I do like to bring down the temp, RH and CO2 a little after the stretch.

Defoliate this bush 44 days in flower?

At this point I would harvest the tops when ready and then come back for the bottoms when they are ready. I would probably throw in some supplemental lighting for the low stuff and gently spread it as much as possible (and maybe a light defoliation) to get as much light down there as possible.

How to keep temperature not too low during night.

10*F-20*F difference is fine. Don't let it drop below 60*F (about 15*C). I never turn off the fans. Use a small heater if necessary.

Critical orange punch day 30. Stunted growth

Oxygen-rich and a faster drying medium, makes a great root system. Great roots make great buds. One of my first grows was an apartment grow with way too much light (ended up with slight bleaching). I used an organic soilless amended coir mix that was just phenomenal... easy as shit. I top...

Critical orange punch day 30. Stunted growth

Looks good. Keep doing what you are doing. Water when top inch of soil is dry. Make sure you get 15-20% runoff to prevent buildup and get some good fresh air in there.

    HPS heat vs led heat

Watts are a measurement of electrical energy. The light produced is energy that is converted from the electrical energy. The heat generated is the energy that is converted from the electrical or light energy. Light energy that is used by the plant for photosynthesis is converted into chemical...

    Let’s just say

Old school thinking for old school tech. OP doesn't mention LEDs nor using the most grow efficient bulbs on the market. In this case I recommend the OP needs more watts. HID should not be lumped in with fluorescents.

how is my first super sprouter setup looking?

I personally like 18/6 as soon as they sprout. When the rooters are dry, water them... I use bottled water because my tap water is garbage. No nutes. Don't water unnecessarily. Weed doesn't like it's feet soaking... the faster you can dry them off, and then re-water, the better. If those...

    Weed butter with wet trim?

Put it in an oven at 240*F for 40 minutes. Boil and melt butter in water. Add chopped weed. Strain out solid matter. Put in freezer. Remove green butter disc. Get fucked up. https://www.thecannabist.co/2013/12/27/kitchenweed/1244/

Is she doing good for her age?

Didn't catch the autoflower part. Well, after it's done stretching there's pretty much nothing you can do as it's focusing on bulking rather than growing. If it's not done growing, giving her more light will reduce the stretch. Just more light in general... as it's good for all growing stages.

Is she doing good for her age?

Never go by how tall they are "supposed" to get. There are WAY too many environmental factors that influence that. Lighting, for example, needs to be adequate or the plant will stretch and try and "reach" for more light. This is bad because you don't get those big buds that form when you have...

Is she doing good for her age?

It's not too short, it's too tall. It looks healthy, but needs more light. And yes, the two colas is from topping.

pc vent 3 all black wire

whoa there, perhaps I wasn't clear. one wire to one wire at a time. one wire from the fan will not be used. There are only 6 possible combinations. if none work, either the fan or power supply is dead.

    Let’s just say

I feel lighting choice should be determined by grow style. If you are going to keep them low and/or with an even canopy, LED/Fluorescent will work great. If you are going to have taller plants with huge colas, you want MH/HPS/CMH for penetration. Regardless, of what lighting you choose, more...

Grow room/grow tent portable AC question

As long as the hot exhaust is outside the room the tent is in, the cool air is being blown into the room (or the tent), and the A/C is strong enough to cool the room AND the heat from the grow equipment, it will work. Without a door it won't be very efficient though.
