Hows my plant looking/ Couple questions.

Looks good. I don't see a need to LST yet, I would wait IMO. That medium looks moist to me. I wouldn't water yet. https://www.growweedeasy.com/low-stress-training-lst

    Blumat watering system

I'm still testing this, but I'm using 1 regular carrot and 1 maxi carrot in a loop connecting to 3 drippers in a 10 gal fabric pot with supersoil (coir). If either carrot senses it's dry it will drip out of the drippers. I'm also using RO from a pressurized tank with a 1/4" 1 bar pressure...

    Bud Washing

I wash my outdoor in 1/2c baking soda + 1/2c lemon juice + 5gal h2o in a 5 gal bucket. Then rinse in another bucket. Then final rinse in a third with ro water. The first bucket is always nasty, the second it still gross and even the 3rd has some debris floating in it when done. Dries, cures...

    Seed turned black

I sow directly in my media. Seedling tap roots are too fragile to be moving around and planting IMO. Seems like an unnecessary step to me.

Fritted Disk ... or ... Homeycomb Levels

I only use ash catchers for catching ash, not percolating. I use just enough water in it that it catches the ash and won't suck into the bong if I rip it hard. They work great at keeping the water in your bong cleaner. A showerhead downstem could help.

Mulch (and topdress) and you won't have to water as much. Great looking ladies BTW.

    Dehumidifier water

I used it all the time. I used the A/C water too. In my last sealed grow I rarely added water to the rez I was recovering so much.

Get your Geek on and control your grow room with Arduino!

Wasn't bad. Arduino ethernet shields made it easy. I could have gone wireless but I had the shields already so I got lazy. I cheat and used the CAT5 for all the I2C decives too... each of the 4 twisted pairs worked great for +5, gnd, clock and data connections. Plus I get all zen when I'm...

Get your Geek on and control your grow room with Arduino!

I had a crazy, over-developed system that I made with arduinos as remote sensor controllers and a pi as the head using SQL for communication between them all. User variables were set using a control and monitoring website. Controlled EC, pH, water pumps, fans, co2, IR (for phytochrome...

Need help with 9000W 12x12 setup.

In a 12x12, each light will cover a 4x4 area (with overlap). For grows other than SoG or with limited space or straight to flower, 5 gallon pots are the minimum for me. 5 gallon pots are about 12" in diameter. You can easily fit 9 plants in 5 gallons pots under 1 light. Of course, if all...

    Why so small

They look good to me. Topping will slow growth as it recovers and it increases lateral branching which will cause more bud sites and less stretch overall. Shorter is better IMO. All that matters is quality and final weight.

    Arduino shields drawing too much.

Get a 5v meanwell psu. Power all your 5v devices off that (including the arduino via it's 5v and ground ports). As stated above, the power regulator on them sucks and I like to provide a stable 5v source while bypassing the regulator. Coil relays use more power than SSRs. I also like to...
