They should be fine. I should also mention that you should never pull the seeds of the leaves. It might take a while, but they will fall off eventually. Happy growing.

There's a few things that it could be. Nutes in the bud can be one of them. Did you give the plants plain water the last 2 weeks before harvest? Did you let the buds dry to quickly in the drying/curing process? What is the ash like when it burns? Is it gray? or is it black and chunky...

Sounds to me like it had a little too much to drink. Roots need oxygen, and they get they're oxygen when the soil dries up just a little. Move your plant to a place where it is shielded from the rain for a few days and let the soil dry. This should help your problem.
