I just noticed the preflowers last night....and you say she's resting because the leaves are droopy?? And how do u know it's over watered? I water it only wen the soil is dry by sticking my finger in the soil.

Its been growing in a box for about a month or so with 4 cfls..one 2700k and 3 6500k. I just put in 4 more cfls today so now i have 8 all together. Im not sure of the watts but it has to be over 200w. Its miracle grow potting mix and i only started using schultz nutes 10-15-10 about a few weeks...

Wen yur seedlings sprout from the dirt...the amount of light you have in your grow area will determine the speed of growth or do some strains just grow slower?

How necessary is it to have a fan blowing on your plants...? Can they grow strong stems without it or is it a better idea to get one?

Thanks pura vida, I'm glad that I'm not the only one dedicated to growing, the box idea is the best for me at the moment and I'm most likely gunna do the surge protector idea you speak of

This is my Ghetto ass grow box that i put together with things that i had found at home...not one dollar was spent on this so its better then nothing...the box is 3x1.5x3 and i have two cfls 1-26w 2700k and a higher watt 6500k and the two tube fluoresants i just threw in for some more lighting...

I planted one of them this past sunday and the other on monday since it didnt have a long enough tail during germination.. the one i planted a day later is now growing faster then the other....is it normal for plants to vary on speeds of growth or is it somthing else...?

Does anyone know if the CFL spot light/flood lights emit more heat then a regular cfl bulb....i wanted to know if i can use the spot lights to get some heat into the growing space...

Those are indeed males my friend...you can tell from the pollen sack all over verses the females long white hairs...take alook around RIU and you will see what i mean. I had the same problem
