Yea, you'll need an additive. I was using distilled and r/o water for a while but I couldn't balance the cal-mag additives and my plants suffered. I switched back to aerated tap water in my reservoirs and conditions improved greatly. Did you add lime to your soil?

When my humidity was at 20% I used 2 long pans of water with airstones in each bubbling, and a fan blowing over the water... raised my humidity by another 20%. My vent fan doesn't run constantly in winter though, so your results might be different. just a thought :leaf:

So you're saying that plants utilize as much co2 as they can at 76f, and raising temps won't increase their co2 consumption at atmospheric levels?
