Concerning the 24 hr light period... a dark period does nothing for your plant. People love to equate human physiolgy with pot growing, but the two are completely different. "You need to sleep therefore your plant needs the same thing", for reasons that are scientifically unsound, untestable...

Sweet dude!!! I've got 400w hps for flower and 400w cfl for veg. Keeps me high :hump: Don't worry about co2 until you're "dialed in" to your grow, your plants need a very specific environment in order to take advantage of your efforts. Keep a fan blowing on your cfls and they can touch...

You need lime in your soil, or some cal-mag additive. I've had better luck with the lime :) You're ph is probably off as a result, but I could be wrong. If it is your ph, then feeding your plant more won't have any positive effect as the roots can't absorb the nutrients.

150w will be fine for one plant. Just make sure you've got some 2700k in there for flowering (or soft white) How long do you plan on vegging? I've been using 24/0 in veg for about a year now and I have no complaints. Will you be training your plant?

I'd say about 15-20 grams dried weight for a new grower. I'm guessing you've got 50w going right now, tops. Add a 26w bulb and you're up to 75w. CFL's put out about half the lumens of a hps so the "half-gram per watt" noob benchmark is a quarter gram per watt for cfls. Factor in cheap nutes...

Light doesn't make cannabis flower, 12 hours of dark does. The amount of light you give your plant will contribute to the amount you harvest. If your boggle is between 1 cfl or as many as you can afford, then the answer is up to you.
