OK, WHO HAS THE FATTEST BUDS AND USES BLOOM BOOST TO GET THERE

Jack’s may not be organic but from listening to an interview, they sound like a pretty stand-up company that DOESN’T want you to overuse their product and provides balanced nutrient amounts dictated by quality not quantity. They like to work with organic growers to learn about what plants really...

    Complete Newbie

Not just for hydro... I mix it with my soil for better aeration. It also helps regulate moisture, giving some when plants need it, and absorbing excess when watering soil too much. It has no nutritional or pH value(neutral pH), so it needs to be mixed with nute-rich soil or plants within it...

    Can I pick her now?

Not sure if good for everyone but I prefer pictures posted as “full image” as opposed to “thumbnail image” should see a couple tabs near the attachment option when you post, I think. Full-image makes it easier for me to zoom-in. But, I’m just browsing. Great info here, though.

Very bottom leaves are turning yellow

    Excellent response. Thanks.

    When do balls open❓

I had a male drop pollen 3 weeks after SPROUTING from seed. Looked like a Charlie Brown Christmas tree. Still have the poor guy months later, his dead-head in a glass next to him... I know, effed up. Dusted an auto on a couple sites I’m not too concerned about. We’ll see if it takes.

Very bottom leaves are turning yellow

Just something I’m trying, because I heard a botanist talking about it on Cannabis Cultivation and Science podcast- Not taking the dying leaves off unless they are obstructing light/airflow, or are molding. The reason being is that it’s not that the leaf is sucking nutes from the plant to stop...

    When do balls open❓

It works. A couple members here mentioned that to me, so I did. Had some abandoned that stayed green and opened up more for almost a week. It’s like blooming flowers in a vase. Edit: though I can’t say for certain the pollen is fertile. Gotta wait and see on the flowers I dusted...

indoor to outdoor. photoperiod and flowering.

@JimmiP I just moved some clones to a hoop house that is barely used, too. Also put some in a fresh-amended garden bed to be raised organically with veggies. Need to put up some solar lights for the greenhouse today. Might run a cable out there and hang some LEDs. Not going to supplement the...

Never seen buds like this before.

That could make sense for my autos, but I’ll do a test today. I read a few places autos need heavier feeding, and I do have them in smallish pots with a lot of coco, so I have to feed them more often.

Old School Skunk, who's found it???

That’s when I’m thinking about from. Had my first toke in middle school ‘94 but didn’t get into it until high school. The more I see this thread the more I realize I miss that damn dead fucking skunk smell! Just nostalgia, perhaps

Never seen buds like this before.

BUT- NO SEEDS. All fem, didn’t herm, was just airy and funny looking.

    Amazed at rapid root growth!

I’m a second-year, (4 grows-to-harvest), greenthumb (as opposed to greenhorn- ha!) and have attempted many- completed a few- clonings (this year has been great so-far), and was amazed at how quickly this one (and all of these in pic, really) took off. 16 days from cutting to this point- my best...

Never seen buds like this before.

Maybe that’s my issue, too! But, meh, healthy enough and I think I only have a couple weeks left on the one, too. GG4 buds I grew last year that foxtailed were harvested a little early due to weather concerns but were still trich-heavy and potent- just really airy and almost velvety to the...

Old School Skunk, who's found it???

You mean like the stuff that people were rumored to copycat by smuggling their brickweed in a trunk with a dead skunk? I used to think that’s just how all pot smelled. It’s what made me start to wonder if I was smelling dead skunk or someone’s grow, when driving through the woods. I didn’t...

Never seen buds like this before.

Probably just genetics or mutation. As long as you get enough airflow and trichomes form, I imagine it will be fine. Not so sure I would trim really though if the plant seems sensitive. Did it flower outside of a 12/12 cycle?

    Overwatered seedlings please help.

Fans would help, and maybe a large blanket underneath long enough to soak up some moisture (but not long enough to mildew!).

Never seen buds like this before.

Looks like how my autoflower (first-time) Banana Kush is growing. The word “larfy” came to mind (is this what that means?- heard the term here first). I thought foxtailing was when it grew like a “head” of wheat, with calyxes doing sort-of a overlapping upward climb but just in pairs. Must be...

    Tomatoes clones from the vine?

Thank you! I gave up on peppers. Had some bugs I didn’t want to infect my cannabis, but I imagined patience would have worked, and they did have thicker stems which take longer in general. Will try again with whatever are my favorites this year. Thanks for the input.

indoor to outdoor. photoperiod and flowering.

I think most* indoor photoperiod plants are more susceptible to hermaphroditism from light-leaks during flower, than outdoor raised, because studies have shown that as the sunlight starts to fade plants begin storing energy in their roots to use during the nighttime. With indoor plants, the...

indoor to outdoor. photoperiod and flowering.

I started early for outdoor so my first round is going to be partially indoor-light raised. I do this throughout the season, but use more electric-light (for obvious reasons) during the darker months. When I move them outside I put them in my greenhouse semi-shaded for part of day by other...
