Last try to save this poor White Widow.

Very nice. The hard part with mine will be growing new roots- I cut it from those too, like a cutting from the stalk- FULL-restart! But, yeah, I’m sure it could work, with patience and care. How long did yours take? Care to share your method?

DurbanPoison- Have you grown it and...

Hmm, I could be interested, though I’m hoping to cross a Durban Poison with a Kwazulu and work on phenotypes with that. “Durban Princess”? -that’s what I named my favorite Durban Poison girl!

Last try to save this poor White Widow.

Was once a vibrant 16inch tall plant. Fried her too long/close to a heating fan (though my Durban Poisons did fine; I thought WW liked the heat??). She wilted over, never recovering her upper leaves so trimmed her trimmed her down at the stalk. What you see in the pics is me cutting the last bit...

DurbanPoison- Have you grown it and...

Close to a pound? Very nice. Where-ish do you live? -hemisphere, latitude, geography- or something similar. It’s still technically Winter here in Mendocino Co., but most plants are acting like it’s Spring, so will probably transition to outside by the end of March, past the equinox. Also- like...

DurbanPoison- Have you grown it and...

Wow- how many plants is that? Did you say just one? I suppose you folks are nearing summer’s end there. Just coming up into Spring here. Really excited about getting these girls or their clones outside. Might pull off four harvests, overlapped, since I started so early. Still using supplemental...

DurbanPoison- Have you grown it and...

Nice. Thanks for the input. I did read that DP in particular is often hybridized to introduce more indoor-friendly genetics but only slighty as to retain it’s remarkable landrace genetics (high thc, hardiness to water issues and general durability- I believe). Definitely have smoked it before...

DurbanPoison- Have you grown it and...

That’s great! I know the “true-nature” landrace Durban (and Sativas in general) grow really tall. I’m just happy Dutch Passion was upfront about an unknown Indica being bred with what I have. Said to flower (time-wise) shorter than normal, as well as the aforementioned hardiness to cooler...

DurbanPoison- Have you grown it and...

...what was your grow like? Seed or Clone, and where from?- Verified pure Landrace, or a little mixed (like the ones I got through Dutch Passion seeds which says there was some unknown Indica crossed with theirs during the ‘80s to help with colder-clim Climate/Geography? Hours of FULL-sun...

Kwazulu Strain- Who has grown it? Particularly outdoors, but interested in your indoor comments, too...

...what was your grow like? I’m interested in cultivating hardy sativas for coastal (a couple miles in, low elevation) Northern California. Picked up S. African Kwazulu by World of Seeds, via Seedsman, because it is supposed to be a pure landrace sativa that is hardy in cooler climes, and has a...

Maybe they sent you one of their variety mixes by accident. I was curious about their Skittlez auto...

Anybody ever try cloning their young “tops”?

Nice! I thought about building one but was lazy and got King Cloner- same basic setup as yours, just square. I sprouted seeds in it by putting them in rapid rooter plugs in the “nets” and a heat mat underneath to keep the water warm. Kept in greenhouse with supplemental t5 light fir 15hr...

Anybody ever try cloning their young “tops”?

Haha- most of those seedlings are tomatoes my gf is starting, though I have a couple rows of canna in there. Just to note- 5 out of 5 S. African Kwazulu seeds from World of Seeds via Seedsman popped up in TWO days!! -in boiled well-water soaked jiffy cubes in large dome with common seedling heat...

Anybody ever try cloning their young “tops”?

They came out quite easily, because I had torn the plugs down to make them shorter, and used the narrower end, and used the torn off pieces on the bottom to hold water. One obv did not root- it popped out of cube, but is not rotten thankfully. Leaving them to air out a bit with these seedlings...

Anybody ever try cloning their young “tops”?

Thank you. I needed to hear that response as I was debating just that. Once separated would you recommend continuing with just rooter until more roots, or a “soft” (not “hot”) soil? I’ve used Mykos generously around the roots if most all seedling/clone transplants I’ve done and never noticed...

Anybody ever try cloning their young “tops”?

These tops are definitely growing bigger. Still can’t see roots poking through the rooter-plugs, but poured out water, and letting them subsist through the moister left in container. Hoping what little roots there may be grow to absorb the water left in plug before they begin to rot.

Anyone ever bought equipment through this site?

Looking for just a blackout shell, 4x8x6 or so, but more curious- I grow greenhouse/outdoor but looking to move a few to flower. Exactly my thought. Oh well. Probably will build my own.

Anyone ever bought equipment through this site?

Was looking up Gorilla grow/blackout tents after seeing recommendations here. The price seems to be impossibly cheaper than other sites, and I’ve been ripped by a site with poor English grammar and odd spellings before. But look- an 8x4 gorilla tent for $75...

    Wondering what my strain is

Thank you for this easy to quickly-look-over graphic! Seems pretty accurate, and I’m tired of scrolling through miles of details everytime I just want a quick possible diagnosis (but still consult the minutiae for big-problems...) You ever try looking for a recipe online only to have to slog...

Record number of bananas, is this smokable?

If you don’t want to waste it, I’d let it mature, dry it, roll it between your hands to help separate the seeds, and crush up the plant, sift it through a screen, pick out the seeds, then add the remaining plant material (even stems, but not the stalk, have a relatively high thc level if your...
