No it won't, each internode along the stem will have both a fan leaf and a growth tip. This growth tip will form a branch (during veg) or a bud (during flowering). If you cut off that growth tip, nothing will grow there.

Al B Fuct was pulling 1.5oz per plant using Spice of Life Seeds' Sweet Tooth #4. Zero veg, clones get roots, and go into 12/12 in the flowering room.
