giving defoliation during flower a try

Still not going to convince people that it is detrimental to yield. There must be some out there that have had good results for whatever reason. At least it convinced you. Got to ask, did you do it to disprove the theory or we're you on the fence re benefits?

giving defoliation during flower a try

I guess the only way would be for someone to grow identical plants in and out to see the the results. Thats really what this thread is about, people trying things on there own. think the op was just wanting to see what would happen for himself. Surely that is acceptable. I mean, to try things...

    light problem

Been there lol. Left a couple of small branches on a stalk in a tray after harvesting. Came back two weeks later and there it is still going. No light, no water, just the humidity from the root mat and bottom res I guess, surprised the crap out of me lol.

giving defoliation during flower a try

I agree with Sativied that the primary goal of the novice grower is to get big plants and misguided or not they will try many different things to achieve that goal. Nutes and additives being the other controversial subject. I have 12 plants packed into a very small space due to thinking I had...

giving defoliation during flower a try

Oh outdoor versus indoor now I get it!!! My indoor has more, but I'm a newb to indoor hydro so could very well be me. Gotta ask hows is this relevant to defoliation when I dont do it? Are you just saying outdoor is better? If yes, i agree given all the pluses like cost, plant size, etc. but...

giving defoliation during flower a try

I thought I did, sorry UB. I thought I said it was a while back, like thirty years, the old memory isnt what it used to be. Doesn't really stick out in my mind re popcorn bud. The blueberry had very little popcorn and remember that strain well, it was more recent. Not sure what your asking re...

    Good PPM for rooted clones?

I just had the same issue with my setup but I figured it was the new nutes and changed back to my cheap ones and stability returned. Also try lowering your nutes a bit perhaps and see if that helps, newb here so hopefully others will help.

    Good PPM for rooted clones?

They have roots! Pretty sure its a good ideal to monitor and adjust at that point. But obviously you know your tap water parameters.

New to hydro, what system is good in a 2'X4'?

$80 dollars seems kinda pricey? I run low pressure aero and in fact I have run the pump 24/7. Doing it now as a matter of fact to keep water a bit warmer. Not saying u dont need one but unlike true high pressure aero, IMO, the short cycles are not required and a cheap one works great for my...

Simple DIY 2x3 Flood Table W/ Tray Stand For $100 Or Less

Well I'm hoping lol. We'll see but things are bulking up nicely. I was in Mexico for 9 days and ph got a bit high but not bad. I have 12 plants under 3-400's due to power limits I can only run 1500 watts and things got crazy running 12. Next time it will be 4 per tray lol. I'm doing a pure...

Simple DIY 2x3 Flood Table W/ Tray Stand For $100 Or Less

Not true aero, low pressure sprayers but everyone calls it that lol. I use trays with manifolds as opposed to rails but have the rails sitting in the garage already drilled, kinda think roots would be an issue with them. i have everything to do true aero but nervous re lots can go wrong lol. The...
