Simple DIY 2x3 Flood Table W/ Tray Stand For $100 Or Less

I had issues when using rock wool cubes to start seedlings. Once in the hydroton they stayed too wet and I drastically reduced flood times till roots developed.

Yes I saw that and i had that as well but I put another out the side 1/2" that would drain if the two drains in the tray plugged. It only happened a couple of times and just a trickle but gave me a heads up to issues. Keep in mind I ran pump 24/7 so shit happened fast lol also my pump fitting...

giving defoliation during flower a try

Just fell on that one lol. Unfortunatly newbs, (guilty as well) for the most part i believe, dont want to spend time learning the science behind the plant and want instant gratification. Not everyone needs to know biology but is very helpful when running into issues. Basically the same with...

giving defoliation during flower a try

"When someone advises me about something I know goes against the laws of nature I quickly ask them to show me the science." It was the 70's-80's lol there was no science! Just a bunch of kids making lots of money! Sadly I spent mine lol. Your crusade against all defoliators is noble but imo...

giving defoliation during flower a try

It was strain dependant for the most part but the later years were spent growing blueberry (great strain btw) and had very little popcorn. We used pro trimmers as well so any popcorn was used for concentrates when it got cut off. It was in the early years that we pulled leaves so honestly cant...

Curing, a myth perpetuated by bad growers

I have read and perhaps RM can collaborate that it takes some time for degradation to occur and that light is a contributor. Curing does not imo lead to degradation of thc in a normal time frame. In saying this I never have it around long enough to actually test this lol.

Improving chances of Females from seed

I'm I wrong in assuming that all bag seed would be a very risky grow? Would a seed not indicate that there was a herm in there somewhere?

giving defoliation during flower a try

I have only tried it once in hydro and it was a complete failure lol. Not saying the defoliation was the cause as it may have been my lack of growing skills lol. When I grew outdoors it was common practice to remove some of the sun leaves, the reason was some old guy told us to lol. After a...

New to hydro, what system is good in a 2'X4'?

If talking low pressure areo why would you need a $80 cycle timer? Also to op a two tote system using sprayers, flood and drain or continuos recirc have all served me well. DWC has always proved a challenge for me but have seen some incredible results. It is very unforgiving re: temps and pump...

Simple DIY 2x3 Flood Table W/ Tray Stand For $100 Or Less

Great job alpha, I am always trying new setups and the one thing I added to my tray was a overflow tube an inch from the top. That saved me from a couple of disasters, I just used a small thru-hull fitting and 1/2 tube to res. Again great job, keep us posted!
