    Moving Indoors to Outdoors

i've tried this and am still working on determining the best method. i will share what i have learned however... reducing light by 1hour/day or 1hour/week or any increment will induce flowering if you continue it as a trend. i'm not certain how long the diminishing light cycle takes to kick...

    is this rare or what!!!!!!!!!!!

i had a plant do this last year. i did some research and found it was called whorled phylotatxy or tri-lateral branching. It turned out to be male for me and only the main stem portrayed this feature. All nodes had 3 leaves and thus 3 branches, but each of those nodes only portrayed the typical...

    What's wrong with her!?

My clones get rooting agents, and foliar feeding to ensure good root production. They also have very few leaves because they have no roots. That's what supports the plant. With damaged roots there's nothing supporting the plant so you have to help it rebuild more roots. Xare nailed it...give...

    DELAYED FLOWERING??? why?

has she crowned herself yet? are the nodes alternating? get a few pictures of just the very tops from both the top and the side, will help to identify exactly where she's at in transition. also, how many hours day/night during veg and in flower? When you first topped her how many nodes was she...

Growing Out Side, Will this work?

how big of a bottle? plants can drink a lot over the course of 3 months. would be better with filtered city tap water instead of distilled water. also pot size is going to matter a lot too. big pot with just 1 drip location may not feed all sides of the plant. maybe expanding on your thoughts...

    What's wrong with her!?

it appears to be root damage. perhaps during transplant you bent the main roots that were supplying the plant with water that allowed for the stems to stand up on their own. At this point there is not enough water pressure inside the plant to hold itself up. treat it like a clone and it should...

Unique Purple Strain - Help Identify this!!

The purple color is from genetics as she was grown indoors for the first 2 months before she stayed out at night. Even her clones growing indoor under MH have purple stems and leaf undersides!! In soil she took about 2 weeks to have a full set of roots in the bottom of the cup. In rapid rooters...

Unique Purple Strain - Help Identify this!!

So I planted some mystery seeds on the 30th of January this year and one of them sprouted a very beautiful purple plant. We didn't really treat her special from the beginning, i mean nothing outside from what all the others got. which is plenty of TLC. None the less, here is a poor picture...

    My Outdoor Garden-2010

so on my maui that looks like the plant below, you'd probably say take at least half of that off? i'm almost at the mindset of getting a refridgerator box or a washing maching box and covering her half of the day. but i think for this one it's too late, the one next to her is more hidden from...

    My Outdoor Garden-2010

veggie, awesome read...just caught up on all 25 pages... got a question about re-veg as it's too late for 4 plants outside, i was able to finish some, but not all of them. 1 bubba, 2 maui's (3rd generation for me) and a sour diesel. At what point would i trim back the plant? they've been out...

    EZ Cloning...my @ss

i just ran into your thread... interesting post to end it with. but i've got a thought or two to add... not much mention of what people use in their clone juice. not to say there were none, but not really much mention of exactly what goes into that nutrient solution. so i've been building...

    My cat ate my plant.

i've got lots of plants outdoor already and my cat is my watch guard. she learned after eating 1 plant a year ago that she's allowed to look, but not nibble! so she wanders around the entire yard spending time with each plant just as i do every morning.

Not sure whats going on???? please help

i would definately say keep it in veg until it's healthy and ready to flower. you don't want an unhealthy plant next to your good looking girls. chance of infection too great and then having that run out of control in the middle of a grow? definately not worth the risk. i've attached a few...

strain comparison - Sour D, OG Kush Elite, Chemdawg #4

the lines come from the HPS light. it's the frequency of light that they emit, our eyes don't see the flicker, but the camera catches it. with a really good flash though you don't get the lines. but these shots were with my cell phone.

strain comparison - Sour D, OG Kush Elite, Chemdawg #4

here are some pictures. We are in week 6. ChemDawg grows very much like a sativa. if you've ever grown OG kush, this is where it get's it's really tall stretch trait from. unlike the Sour D which will create beautiful arms that fill up. very interesting to see these grow side by side. wish i had...
