I was thinking the same, they tell you to hang the 600R QB at least 2.5-3 ft and they say hang the scorpion @12 in? Doesn't make sense to me

There's a tiny bug on the root and I'm not 100% sure what it is. My plants are showing symptoms of Russet mites...but this doesn't look like a Russet.. Thanks ahead of time

No pics but My set up is a 4x8 tray with 2 1000W DE HPS hanging from the ceiling....turned down to 600w (Ceilings are 8 ft) Table is 12 inches on one side and 13 inches on the other so I can collect the runoff. Thinking about trying LEDs to see if they can compete with HPS

Under 600 DE HPS 4x4 tray, I avg. 2 1/2 from 6 plants Rockwool. GG4 I'd get 3 1/2 with 4 plants .....so I guess it's all strain dependant
