Thanks. Does it do well beyond preventative maintenance? Like if you have a small outbreak?

Any Thirp Remedies When in Flower?

So I discovered I had a Thirp problem in my outdoor flowering grow yesterday and have been doing some research in getting rid of them (or at least minimizing their presence). All of the recommendations (aside from Sinobad, which isn’t sold in Canada) cannot be used during flower. What options...

    Anything to worry about?

There we go….until I can get my hands on some pyrethrin spray and/or anything else that won’t hurt the buds. Wtf do you use when you’re in mid-flowering stage? Sucks! Otherwise I would just nuke these fuckers with pyrethrin powder, put a bag over the plant overnight and call it aday. All the...

    Anything to worry about?

Scale of 1-10, how bad are thrips? :-| Will start spraying off. Although, I’m about week 3 into flower. Ok to do? I’m not sure if Spinosad is available here in Canada. BT, you mean Bacillus thuringiensis? I use that for worms on my Kale, etc. For now I put on some yellow sticky traps to...

    Anything to worry about?

The markings (aside from the bugs munching here and there). I’m thinking the hot 35c/100f weather for the last 2 weeks. Misty water droplets landing on leaves and burning mid day? Posting here just to make sure. Thanks! This one still has some powdered pesticide residues on it from awhile...

    Canadian Outdoor Auto Grow Log

July 28th - 31st, 2022 Stinking hot (36c/100f) everyday. Water and feed every day — roughly the same each time at 500-600ppm / 5.8-6.1Ph. Picking 1-2 fan leaves off each plant here and there every 3 days or so. Don’t want to stress them out with a full-on major defoliating. Keeping them all in...

    Outdoor LST Benefits?

Thanks for the advice, I’ll try it out next season as my plants are about 3 weeks into flower already. Being my first grow, I kept the scope of the grow project down to just becoming familiar with what the plant is like and how it responds to soil, feeding, etc. So far so good, and ready to move...

    Meltdown temps? Give them shade!

38c/100f temps aren’t a time to fool around and see if you’ll get denser buds or max growth. I’m putting this brood under the tree mid-day until the weather goes down 10 degrees in a few more days.

June 26th, 27th, 2022 Watered/fed all plants both days 500-550ppm, 6.0Ph. Temps are very hot at 85-100f, 30-35c. Had to put the small ones under the tree for shade during peak heat as a precaution. They had dried out and couldn’t water right away. Here are some random shots. Gorilla Glue #4...

Thanks, its been fun so far. Yes I started fairly late, around June 6th or something but it was a very cool and wet beginning. Next year I’ll start mid-May. Part of it gets direct sun from 9am-8pm. The whole plot is guaranteed 10hrs of full-on, direct, bright sun. It is the only area of the yard...

Spaced my plants out. Nice family shot! With the cold weather stunting growth at the start I can’t decide how far these are in…5-6 weeks? Thinking 6, but can look like 5 compared to other grows. Oh The front row are two weeks younger

July 25th, 2022 Spaced all the plants out for better light. 500ppm, 5.8Ph feeding for the older ones. Defoliated for the first time. 3-4 fan leaves each max. Don’t want to stress them too much.
