    Leaves r getting yellow... Help!!!

With seedlings take the humidity as high as you can. There's no such thing as 'humidity too high' with seedlings or clone cuttings that you're rooting. If you do start using CANNA A&B only use a TINY amount and, if possible, check the EC. At this stage of growth NUTE BURN is something to...

I'm troubled by mean people on this forum

Me too. If someone is asking after posting lots of details about their grow, I will answer even the most basic of questions. Finding answers can be harder than it seems. Recently I attempted to research LED grow lights and I ended up with more confusion than clarity. I had to button hole some...

I'm troubled by mean people on this forum

Typical question that provokes discourtesy: "I am a new grower - How much yield can I grow in a space 4' x 3' ???" There is3 or 4 of these EVERY DAY and not one comes from a serious intention to grow. They are from a stoned kid who'll forget to read the answers. Fuck 'em

Drug testing at check points in LA!!!

I don't want stoned people driving on the roads. But I don't want people being done over for a joint they had 3 days earlier.

Feds Charge White Man With Hate Crime In First ‘Knockout Game’ Prosecution

I've already decided. Some idiot attacks an old man and you turn it into a 'death of white equality' post. Then you start to try and worm your way out of it and change the focus a little.... Very sad.

    Leaves r getting yellow... Help!!!

Grown from seed, right? Just google COTELYDON LEAVES TURNING YELLOW. I've just done it and, believe me, you'll be reading till NEXT Christmas. (I've not grown from seed, yet, but I'll follow this thread - For when I do).

    Need help choosing a method

    600w will do a 4 x 4 (37.5w per sq ft) Attempting to do a 8 x 8 would need AT LEAST 4 x 600w. This is basic stuff.

    First grow what you think?

Odour will increase throughout the VEG cycle and, depending on strain and environmental factors, become more noticeable as FLOWER time approaches. It's always better to be sure - and get into good habits - by using a carb filter from early in the grow. Good luck.

    CHOOSING SEEDS....Spoilt for Choice!

I don't want to announce to the world that I'm growing by going around attempting to source clones.... This country may have some good grass But it also has its fair share of grasses! I pnly ever heard one thing about Mr Nice seeds. A guy bought 3 1 failed and 2 hermied. Howard Marx is an...

First time- planning- for feedback :)

I think that's bad advice. All manner of things can affect pH - and affect it to unknown and differing degree's. Using a 'one size fits all' cure for pH problems (or potential problems) is like someone telling you a shortcut that will take 5 miles off your journey, without them even knowing your...

First time- planning- for feedback :)

I almost forgot....... RE-POTTING If you're using a soil or soil type substrate it's better to re-pot a few times. When a plant is re-potted its roots immediately find the sides of the pot, then go down. So, if you put a seedling straight into a 10 gallon pot, the root formation leaves a huge...

First time- planning- for feedback :)

QUESTIONS and ANSWERS (Opinions, actually). 1 - SUBSTRATE I started with CLAY PEBBLES because I was using a Wilma Hydro system and also because the person who was instructing me on how to start growing, also used them. Peer pressure. I use CANNA AQUA VEGA A & B (I don't change to FLORES during...

First time- planning- for feedback :)

Forget a meter for luminosity and soil humidity (whatever that is?) You NEED a meter for EC (sometimes called CF or PPM TDS). It tells you the total amount of NUTES in your water/feed and is an invaluable tool to make sure you always give your plants the maximum nutrients (without hurting...

GAVITA PRO 600 - Experienced GAVITA users needed....

Hi I have been offered a GAVITA 600 PRO with the arms broken. There is also a GAVITA PRO 600 EU that costs far more but doesn't have the 'arms' part that are broken on the other. It's not a DIMMABLE (which is more like a normal ballast than the usual GAVITA design). I've tried looking at...

    CHOOSING SEEDS....Spoilt for Choice!

Despite having a three area perpetual grow system that runs smoothly and is self contained, I still have the urge to buy and germinate lots and lots of different strains of seed! There are SO many different breeders advertising various strains that it wouldn't be possible (even with enough...

    I Can't pick!!!

How big are these FREEZERS....? You've mentioned them in 3 of your posts and it feels like you're having an internal argument "The seeds are in there....just empty the freezer and find them....". "But it's got 7 sheep, 3 pigs, 2 cows and a Cuidad Juarez Cartel King Pin in there....it'll take...

I'm 40 and also broke. Twelve months ago I was financially comfortable (but miserable). Now I'm financially miserable (but comfortable in every other way).

    African Strains

DURBAN POISON I have only ever smoked D.P that was grown in Europe. TBH I only have the sellers word that it was D.P but it did have a different smell (and high) to any other grass I'd ever smoked. It also had a strange ability to 'turbo boost' a plateaued high. (When smoked to capacity on skunk...

    Nute Burn?

The pictures above are almost certainly nute burn. Also, the description of "painfully slow growth....". With these symptoms i'd guess nute burn and EC/pH test your nute/water mix and act accordingly. I had the same problem about 4 weeks ago and it stunted my plants (added about 7-10 days)...

    New farmer questions :)

    Here's the EQUATION FOR CALCULATING IN LINE FAN SIZE NEEDED 1 - Convert FEET to METRES 2ft 6in = 0.762m, 5ft = 1.524m. 2 - Area of tent 0.762 x 0.762 x 1.542 = 0.895m 3 - 0.895 x 1.25 (this allows a 25% margin of error) = 1.19 metres per minute 1.19 x 60 = 67.15 m3 p hr (metres cubed...
