    100W Stealth Ikea Cabinet

As i said this is my first successful plant, which is now at the end of the 5th week of flowering. It is a random bagseed found in a friends' bud (unknown strain). 11L fabric pot, volcanic lapilli mulch cover and drain bedding, peat-based organic soil amended with volcanic lapilli. Biobizz...

    100W Stealth Ikea Cabinet

Hey everybody! I've started building this cabinet (and growing my first plants) around 6 months ago, during the second wave of the pandemic, so i'm still very new to this! Cab The cabinet itself is 70cm (2.3 ft) wide, 70cm (2.3 ft) high and 35cm (2.3 ft) long, so 0.245 m² (2.64 ft²) is the...

    Potential Mag deficiency?

Been on vacation for a while, just came back. Girlfriend has been trained and helped in keeping the plant in tip-top shape (and me relaxed). She kept swelling up and overall it seems i left her in very good hands... everything seems perfect to me so far. Now fertigating 3 times out of 4 total...

    Potential Mag deficiency?

I actually think if you look closely some leaves are in fact just a lil bit a more "deep green" than before. It's barely noticeable through a webcam with lights on though :D Edit: Also mind that i was using the new Biobizz Starter Pack products, certified made this year so that should be more...

    Potential Mag deficiency?

Hi myke, this is the August 9th comparison from when first symptoms appeared. Overall, discoloration is progressing on those 2 leaves and everything else keeps fattening up and not giving a shit :D

    Potential Mag deficiency?

I must be honest and clear: i didn't follow it to the letter. It was more of a framework to work with, a "general approach" at managing growth that honestly makes sense, botanically speaking. Also i didn't perceive any "bashing", you're just trying to help me sort things out: i can feel you're...

    Potential Mag deficiency?

I'm starting to think every error leading to this done in the last few weeks has created an intertwined set of problems/deficiencies. I always thought early N deficiency would show interveinal chlorosis, instead of veinal chlorosis, like what is depicted here: But i also read that genetics...

    Potential Mag deficiency?

Yes, i'm feeding every time (max 3 times a week) as recommended in the feeding schedule. Since i water almost 4 times a week now, to make sure i'm not underwatering, i guess one watering i can just give straight pH'd water.

Too early to tell if it's working. I'm fixing some images of concerning spots so we can see it better:

First grow, pretty tight space, how much veg/training left?

Oh ye sorry, it's similar to this one but bigger.

@Hollatchaboy bro reading about your activity i found CRAZY groundbreaking shit. Very very inspiring, will follow you closely ;) Do you think something like this could work as living soil SIP? https://www.amazon.it/Lechuza-21-LS-Premium-espresso-quadro/dp/B00KWCSMVK/ It's also cool and sleek...

    Potential Mag deficiency?

You're well within reason myke, thanks for always keeping me real. I honestly bought it just in case since i was ordering other things from the same seller and i didn't have a solution for apparent Mg deficiency, but you're right, i shouldn't have. Unfortunately i still don't have any Epsom...

    Potential Mag deficiency?

These are all invaluable advices. Thanks thanks thanks @curious2garden for helping me here too, i remember you from my first post ;) Soil This is the soil label (in Italian), it doesn't say much more than what i already wrote in earlier comments. Just some additional data: What is top dress...

    Potential Mag deficiency?

Please mind that when i mention 6.7-6.8 pH i'm testing with GH liquid pH test kit, 2 drops, and both this and the last watering/feeding the pH value was reached without using any pH down (I'm also using the Biobizz organic pH down called "Bio Down"). So no pH adjustment: pure tap water...

    Potential Mag deficiency?

I don't feed the same way: i just got a few ornamentals, one acidophilic and a pepper plant. I only feed when they look "tired" and have less flowers/fruits than normal. After 3 days max they're all usually in tip-top shape. I water every other day (or every day if it's very hot outside) and...

    Potential Mag deficiency?

Further research tells me these might also be the symptoms of a Zinc deficiency -> link (growweedeasy.com) "The most common reason growers will see a zinc deficiency is when the pH at the roots is too high. Zinc tends to get locked at higher pH levels and is better absorbed by the plant in a...

    Potential Mag deficiency?

Let's see in a couple of days if changing only the pH stops the symptoms. The "pH possible cause" is now called Cause 0) which i'm trying to solve and exclude from the list of candidates. If the somewhat rapid leaf discoloration keeps progressing i think there could be only a couple other main...

    Potential Mag deficiency?

That's what i ultimately did guys: I watered w/ 2L (no runoff) at around 6.7 - 6.8 pH with regular dose of Biogrow, Biobloom and Topmax. Hopefully i can fully stop this deficiency quickly today with a foliar spray of Epsom salts + "Armor Si"-equivalent. I also noticed that Biobloom and Topmax...
