it's odd that people can't get the 6500 K I can find them everywhere here in Vancouver. Yeah go with the 27000 k the science is there. I've used 4200 K and they were terrible even 3500 k didn't work.

cfls aren't near efficient as big hid lights, most people don't even have a reflector behind their bulbs which makes them extremely inefficient compared to HID. Cfls only can penetrate a few inches compared to over a foot for only a 400 watter.

nope they do that as they still haven't fullfilled their genetic encoding to produce seeds, this is when you are likely to get a hermie produced, if you want some fem seeds let go on.

mylar won't work you need metal reflectors strapped right behind the bulbs. Every watt of light energy you add will add more weight to your final harvest.

what I'm seeing that really don't like is the lack of reflectors on your bulbs most of your light is going to waste. Get some disposable oven roasting pans or aluminum pie plates so all the light is getting bounced onto the plants. You could clean out some of that smaller growth and buds but...

I agree with you 100 % I always make seeds and I'm usually growing 3 strains at a time so I make crosses of them too.
