hi, i wonder, if 2ft distance to canopy for a 1000watt DE HPS is ok? should it not be a distance like 3ft for this kind of lamp? i think good test to compare them, would be if you test them at the distance which you would use in a real grow.

hi like i allready told minimum order is 250euro. i asked for pads for clu058, if i remeber correct the price for one pad is around 0,40-0,50euro. so for 250 euro you would get a lot of this pads, around 500-600 lol

i found a company they make pretty nice pads even for citizen cobs....pads have exact the same size like the cobs... from edge to edge... they make even the 2 holes for the screws datasheet looks pretty good only problem is they sell only business to business... you have to order minimum for 250...

Hi, the problem is that the cob holder can handle maximum 250 volts. That does mean you can only connect 4 cob maximum in series with that ideal holder. 250volt / 53volt = 4,7 so only 4 cobs in serie maximum...

do you know allready, how you wanne mount the cob on the heatsink? you plan to use cob holders or do you wanne screw the cob directly on the heatsink? I ask because their dont exist cob holders which can handle 2+ cob in serie.

the cob does take only that volts which it needs with this kind of driver CLU048-1812 at 1050ma use around 52,5-53volt(Tc=50C). Your driver has a Volt pool from 152-305. so you to be in this volt range from your driver, above 152volt but under 305volt calculation to know how much cob you have...
