Scared to water the thing lol it seems everything I do damages it but I will put some more water on the dry spots thank you.

This is the new growth I'm not sure if you can see it and the dying cotyledons I will attach pics. I also bought some nutrients for it but as I said I don't want nute burn on top of light burn.

Hey thanks for the reply the pot was light and dry I haven't watered it in 4 days I just put abit more soil on top to support the stem then I misted the soil it seems like it is growing two new leaves past the burned leaf still looking weird but I suspect that wont heal or get better but new...

Now with the cotleydons on there way out I don't really want to pump it with nutrients to cause further damage to it.

I've ordered a 6500k bulb that's coming soon for the time being the light it's getting is a led strip blue and red.Im pretty sure this seedling is on its way out with the shriveling and burned tips.

I used 600w HPs at first that burned it so i took them down and stuck a red and blue led strip to the wall till it recovers enough for the higher bulb.

It's not the stretch I'm worried about anymore it's the burnt tip and the sagging downwards and shrivelled cotyledons.

Well this is the plant today 5 days old cotyledons have shriveled up and nearly dead still green though I can see 2 new leaf growth I'm not sure if you can the growth in the pictures it's either dying or improving. I thought the cotleydons stay on for 2 weeks or so.

Will look into buying a fluorescent and start over if need be third times the charm eh luckily I'm using random bag seeds I've got a purple auto so just learning from these mistakes till I know I won't kill that one. Fluorescent is CFL bulb right ?

I will order some of the lights that weedstoner linked and only use the HPS when there out of the early stages I don't have high hopes for this one second one ive killed first with nutes now light worse grower out here lol.

Will raise the lights abit more and water less,from what you can see what is the likelihood of this seedling going downhill and dying because of the tips? Really don't want to germinate another seed just to kill it again if this one dies think I'll call it a day and stop.
