Fall of the Clones, please help!

The airstone keeps oxygen in the water, a necessity for roots to grow. The reason you might want to make your initial cut underwater is to prevent an air emolism, which is where a bubble of air gets caught in the stem, kind of like a blood clot, and causes the plant to die. This isn't a risk...

    Reviewing the Basics...Making Compost Tea

I use an airstone instead of that gang valve, and usually just put my compost in a pillowcase and tie it off like a big teabag, but thats pretty much how I do it too. I always add molasses, and sometimes I mix bat guano and earthworm castings to the compost. Good post Ohsogreen!

    Anyone else find feet hot?

I'm all about some feet too. My GF has some nice feet + ankles. My friends call it a fetish, but I'm pretty sure that a fetish is only for inanimate objects. Like, you can have a shoe fetish, or a pickle fetish, but feet are another part of a woman's body to be appreciated. And sucked on.

    Pink hairs

I grew a Powerplant this year and about two weeks into flowering, all the hairs turned pink. Over the next month or so, the color deepened into a dark purple. Now that it's cured, though, theres no trace of the color left over, except one or two hairs here and there that didn't die back to the...

Have you ever gotten really stoned one night and woke up feeling retarded? It can't be good for a developing brain.

how to sneak weed through an airport.. onto a plane and to my destination.?

Put it in a vacuum sealer and overnight FedEx it to your destination. That way if it gets caught, it can't be attributed to you at all. I wouldn't get on a plane with any weed on me.

    Dealing with Cold temps

Low tempuratures can also bring out the color in purple strains. Tell that to the guy in his boxers at 2am freaking out because his plants are cold. :)

    Nor-Cal Storm on the way

Yep. Just tie it back up to where it goes, and just having the broken parts make contact with each other is enough for transfer of fluids to take place... Just try not to fuck with it at all after it's tied/taped back on. When are my buds supposed to turn into nasty clumps of mold? They're all...

    Nor-Cal Storm on the way

Well the sun is out, it rained like a bastard last night and the ground is soaked. None of my branches are broken and all my buds were dry by noon. No mold. When the sun shines in my valley, it gets so arid and hot that mold could not propagate. And I have a feeling that last night, when all my...

    Nor-Cal Storm on the way

I'm impressed that you can make a 'for sure' statement about my garden when you haven't even seen it and don't have any idea of the microclimate or humidity levels. The sun's coming out tomorrow. Don't wish mold on people. :finger:

    Cold tonight!!

What did you cover them with? I was going to suggest 32 gallon trash cans, but it seems like your plants would be too tall for them.

can i pick a early bud off

:wall: No you can't.... hold a lighter up to a freshly chopped bud and see how long you have to hold it there before it burns... Mabye you meant "without curing it"

    Cold tonight!!

They will go dormant for the evening, but they will be fine as long as it does not drop below freezing (32 F). How big are they? Covering them with something for the night can help insulate and keep them warmer than the air temperature.

Lol, exactly! My GF is stressing the rain wayyy too much... I told her that weed has been getting rained on for thousands of years, and it'll be fine.

    Nor-Cal Storm on the way

They are so close to being ready that I don't want to deprive them of any light. Wouldn't tarping them be the lazy option, rather than running out every few hours to shake them off like I'm doing?
