Too many yellow leaves in flower?

Nice! Yeah bloody drought all summer with raging wildfires. Put on evac alert twice this summer. To now so much rain. A few frosts. I can’t believe they’re all still alive and continue to ripen.

Too many yellow leaves in flower?

Yeah I hear you. Mold scares the piss out of me. And with so many getting it this year it’s like I’m just expecting it. But I am managing to keep the dry under the tarp. The Rh around them is 99. But the airflow remains really good, the girls themselves remain dry. I defoliate often. All I can...

Too many yellow leaves in flower?

Lol. I have lots. But I had to buy more lid caps. Should be good to go. Should be pretty close for next trim and jar tomorrow evening. Harvest next plant Monday. Thank god for this tarp. Been raining for 3 days. Sun back Monday for a bit. So with any luck I’ll see the finish line. Multiple daily...

    Safe to smoke?

Most of those pics look pretty questionable. I personally would not smoke any of those buds. Sorry man.

Too many yellow leaves in flower?

Confused why you’d take take them down from hanging to a bin. Trim up one jar throw a hygrometer in there give it 24hrs to stabilize. You’ll have a good idea when dry. Small stems snap. Large ones I find bend with a crack. Than it’s trim and jar. If to moist then you pull out on a screen or...

Too many yellow leaves in flower?

But yeah I’d say pretty darn close to 8oz. My first plant looked similar as far as branch and bud, I got 9.65oz. So I’d say that sounds like a fair guesstimate. But you want to weigh it regardless.

Too many yellow leaves in flower?

When you say bin? You mean you’re jarring it up today? Put a hygrometer in a jar or two. Trim all your buds and weigh em up. Weight is usually based on dried, trimmed. I have the exact same snips as you. Lol.

How cold can outdoor plants survive in?

Nice. That should help the cause. Make sure you get some airflow in there. But looks good.

    Revision..I hate harvest day.

There is definite reward there. I was so excited for the big weigh in. I guess if I really put it into perspective 7hrs of trimming is directly related to that number on the scale. It was the sore back that got me re thinking how much I actually enjoy it. Lol. My 2nd plant is drying. Look...

    Revision..I hate harvest day.

I can see that for sure. I don’t mind it. To a point though. 7hrs I found to be a little much. I’m pretty happy the harvest is staggered that’s for sure.

How cold can outdoor plants survive in?

Nice! Come Monday the overnights are all above zero. And the suns back. So just get through the weekend rains with tarp up. Keep em dry, than hopefully those last 2 weeks bring em to the finish line. Shouldn’t have to cover further.

How cold can outdoor plants survive in?

I’m in the Shuswap in BC. The tarp only covers them above. The sides are wide open. Did this purposely so airflow still moves through all sides. It’s been rainy more and more here lately. Just trying to keep em dry and finish to fully ripen with out rot. So far so good. Harvested 2. 4 still out...

How cold can outdoor plants survive in?

I agree with protecting the plants. Never said I didn’t. Was just disagreeing with frost is an immediate death. My plants were also wet. So dry plants can definitely handle a light frost. And the 4th plant is still alive. It just didn’t recover 100%. I have a tap awning I use to keep them dry...

How cold can outdoor plants survive in?

I’m just going to speak from experience and have to disagree. A couple nights ago it dropped below zero. I have 4 plants out there. Not only was there a frost, but the plants also got rained on that afternoon. There were many parts that frost was pretty heavy. The sun came out that morning. All...
