Confused why you’d take take them down from hanging to a bin. Trim up one jar throw a hygrometer in there give it 24hrs to stabilize. You’ll have a good idea when dry. Small stems snap. Large ones I find bend with a crack. Than it’s trim and jar. If to moist then you pull out on a screen or...

But yeah I’d say pretty darn close to 8oz. My first plant looked similar as far as branch and bud, I got 9.65oz. So I’d say that sounds like a fair guesstimate. But you want to weigh it regardless.

When you say bin? You mean you’re jarring it up today? Put a hygrometer in a jar or two. Trim all your buds and weigh em up. Weight is usually based on dried, trimmed. I have the exact same snips as you. Lol.

I can see that for sure. I don’t mind it. To a point though. 7hrs I found to be a little much. I’m pretty happy the harvest is staggered that’s for sure.

Nice! Come Monday the overnights are all above zero. And the suns back. So just get through the weekend rains with tarp up. Keep em dry, than hopefully those last 2 weeks bring em to the finish line. Shouldn’t have to cover further.

I’m in the Shuswap in BC. The tarp only covers them above. The sides are wide open. Did this purposely so airflow still moves through all sides. It’s been rainy more and more here lately. Just trying to keep em dry and finish to fully ripen with out rot. So far so good. Harvested 2. 4 still out...

I agree with protecting the plants. Never said I didn’t. Was just disagreeing with frost is an immediate death. My plants were also wet. So dry plants can definitely handle a light frost. And the 4th plant is still alive. It just didn’t recover 100%. I have a tap awning I use to keep them dry...
