    Outdoor BC 2021

How’d your girls do last night? I’m in the Shuswap. Built a little awning to keep rain away. However yesterday late afternoon had a little rain come through. Below zero last night, and looks like all 5 hit hard with frost. Being moist didn’t help. Not sure what to do. 1 was ready and I’ll take...

    Revision..I hate harvest day.

A revision from 6 days ago when I claimed I loved it. Lol. A full day just trimming, chopping, washing, hanging. Than came the back pain. Hahaha. Today was trim and dry, and started out with thinking 2, than 4, than fuck it. All day. So yeah…. Knowing I have 5 more to go, I’m less excited. I’ll...

    Revision..I hate harvest day.

So…. Still 1st of 6 plants, and after 7hrs of trimming and jarring today, realizing I have 5 more plants. I officially hate harvest/dry trim day. However. Results were good. Rocked out 9.65oz dried, and trimmed off first plant. Now to cure. Won’t try it for a month.

    Drying question

Well I don’t know…. Day 6 of drying. They are ready to dry trim and jar. I wanted 4-5 more days. Had a hard time keep RH at 55. Avg at 42RH. I would adjust it with humidifier often as well. It was bedtime that I couldn’t help. I think one adjustment I can make is shut the fan off at time and...

    Unreal, Seen This?

I washed for first time this year. Absolutely love how they came out. Only through the first of 6 plants. But all my girls will be washed going forward. Here’s the recipe I used off an article someone else so graciously posted in here. Pic of the wash water included. Unreal the shit that comes...

Planning better, need seed advice - Northern climate / Canada

I would suggest staying away from “fast” version. I bought into it this year, still have 5 of my 6 in the ground. All fast. All 3 weeks past breeder timelines. And anywhere from 1-3 weeks to go. I’m in BC. And dealing with single digits nightly. Had to build a canopy to keep the dry from rain...

Should I harvest based on trichomes or pistils

You want to harvest on the doneness of your plant. It’s a combination of both. Trichomes and pistils. But there should be no white pistils. Dark/brown pistils curled back into a swollen bud. Trichomes mostly cloudy. Maybe some amber. Hard to tell from the pic. Post a few more of just bud.

Too many yellow leaves in flower?

Wow. That’s crazy man. But I get it. I would have had to add another day if trim was involved. I trimmed fans in place well still in the dirt. Washed. And straight to slow dry. The dry trim going to be a full day for sure. 5 more plants. God dam. I need a friend nearby. Lol.

Too many yellow leaves in flower?

I’m definitely cutting the grow back next year. It took a full day to harvest 1 plant. It’s a ton of time. Thank god I run my business from home. Lol

    Will They Survive?

Awesome man I appreciate that. Truthfully I’m dam new to this. I just read a ton of threads in here. I’ve learned just about everything from posting questions in here. The community is super awesome at helping those that truly want to learn. As I’m sure you’ve noticed. Don’t ask questions to...

    Drying question

Different system. But hey if it works for ya, who’s to knock it. I’m really just trying my best to dial in a dry room to slowly dry the buds to trim up and jar, start the cure. Ideally I’d like 10-14 day dry to allow as much chlorophyll breakdown as possible. Not sure I’ll get there with a 42%...

    Will They Survive?

Neither. Lol. I’ve only harvested 1 of the 6 as it was truly the only one ready. It’s day 3 of drying. Just trying to dial in the room. The canopy frame and tarp worked to keep rain off the girls. And the other 5 continue to ripen nicely. I should have my next one ready to harvest in a weak. The...

    Drying question

What was your temp? Everywhere I’ve read 50-55RH is the ideal zone for a slow dry. The fact you dried in 3/4 days. Sorry I’m confused. It dries in 3-4 days. But than you hung it back up and ended up with 80Rh in jars? If you had 80Rh in jars how did it dry out? That’s still very moist.

    Drying question

I can. But I’d have to shut the fan off. It’s on lowest setting lightly blowing in opposite direction at the wall. So you say 42-44 is too low, and I should aim to keep it around 50-55RH?
