    question on curing burp style

Ordered a pack of 5 mini for $20. If I mix bud sizes I’m sure they can be used in ever other jar. Thanks.

Makes sense. I’ll definitely mix it up.

    question on curing burp style

Thanks! Do you have a specific mini hygrometer you use for jars. I’ve seen some on Amazon. But reviews aren’t great. You got something tried, and tested?

    question on curing burp style

Just curious opinions, after dry, when heading in jar, better to use the hygrometer or what about those Boveda 62 packs? I only ask as I’ve got a hygrometer for the dry room. But before I got out and buy smaller ones for jars, there’s the option to buy humidity packs instead? Anyone ever use them?

    Rain/Construction protection

So got this up in time, rained all evening and night. Plants are bone dry, well everything around them is wet. Fairly easy to pull back the tarp. And secure it without removing it. So I’d say it definitely helped. Cool air is speeding up the ripening by the looks of it.

    Rain/Construction protection

Thanks. I’m thinking of building a hoop house for next year using pvc. My grow is in previous pages of thread. I’ve built an awning of sorts using a blue tarp. Bungee cords to strap it down. Kind of a pain to put it up. But the idea is it’s only used when rain or as of next week wet flurry is in...

    Rain/Construction protection

Thanks for the vote of confidence. Not rot….yet. Shit scares me. Keeps me up at night. Lol I guess something is better than nothing. I’ll pull it off first thing in the morning. Hopefully there dry.

    Rain/Construction protection

Thanks man. Hope I don’t have to dry them off. If the tarp does it’s job. I just need to be on top of the forecast lol. I have no power in garden. That’s why I asked. With so much airflow I have no way to add fans. She strapped down pretty good too. Ahh shit. Imma just hope and a prayer on this...

    Rain/Construction protection

The pvc pipe is a good idea. But you really think I need fans? It’s a pretty big gap on both ends wide open. Also 3/4 of the chain link is open. And the front where it slopes off. The tarp is really just covering the tops. Lots of air movements in there. And it comes off in the morning. Only put...

    Rain/Construction protection

From talking to many on this forum, the mistake I made was buying “fast” versions of anything. I have 3 strains(5 plants all “fast” versions). All supposed 7 week flower. Second grow so how was I supposed to know it’s just a marketing scam. It pisses me off so much because I live in a climate...

    Washing buds

That’s perfect. Thanks man. Similar approach I think I’ll take. Plants are tall. Only one ready. I’m taking it tomorrow. It will be nice to have a staggered harvest. But I’ll take all fans and rough trim we’ll still in the ground. Than collect branches. Wash, rinse, hang outside for an hour...

    Rain/Construction protection

Ahh ok. Fair enough. I have a brother in Nova Scotia. He gets a shit ton of rain. We’ve had drought all summer. A few rainy September days. But I’ve been fortunate with the size of the grow to avoid mold. I’m going to have cool temps starting next week. Maybe even frost. And a lot more wet. So...

    Rain/Construction protection

Thanks man, same to you. Like you set up. Looking good. I’m quite defoliate, and with both sides open and half the back airflow should be ok no fan. I’m taking my first plant tomorrow. The other 5 have 2-4 weeks yet. Some shitty temps ahead soon. Where snouts are you located. I’m in BC.

    Washing buds

I’m honestly not sure. I can’t say I’ve personally ever flung them around to get rid of excess water. I’ll wash and hang outside for 45-1hr. Then bring em in to dry room

    Washing buds

Thanks. Much appreciated. I’ll definitely look at how I’d like to trim it up to wash. Prob very similar to pic above.

    Washing buds

Wow! Beauties. Ok. Thanks all. I always planned the chop, trim big fans, wash. Just wasn’t sure about wet trim then dry. Of dry. Than dry trim. Youve convinced my to dry trim. Lol. Thanks. I’m guessing the extra moisture from the sugar leaves will help keep humidity up a tad in dry room, also...

    Washing buds

Ok. Thanks. Just curious…why avoid wet trimming? I was going to wash, wet trim, hang in dry room. You find it easier to dry trim?

    Washing buds

After this stage do you wet trim than dry buds on branches? Or wash, outside dry for 45 min than straight to dry room. Is either method ok? As long as your washing can a guy wet trim than hang to dry? I would guess it’s counter productive to dry trim than wash correct?

    Rain/Construction protection

Lots of airflow there still. It’ll hopefully help a bit. Bloody nightmare though trying to string it up. Pain in the ass for something that’s going to be on/off. I hope it’s worth it.
