Running oscillating lights, or less lights?

Fair enough! Once a day it is. Thanks for the feedback.

    What's wrong with my plants?

Definite thrip problem, and looks pretty intense too if they have hit many leaves on all your plants. Get in there immediately with a hand pump sprayer and spinosad and go to town. Spray thoroughly the tops, and most importantly the underside of the leaves, spray the stems in their entirety...

    small Tent w/ 1000w hps

Are you prepared to deal with the heat levels of a 1000w HPS? If you haven't experienced it it really is a truly intense source of heat. I couldn't imagine ever running a 1000w HPS in anything but the largest of tents, with some form of real climate control or extreme air turn over with cold...

    1 Fan, 2 filters

I second this. Rather than filter the air at the beginning of the exhaust, you should pull the air out with your inline fan, and pushed out through your carbon filter. That is, if you're not exhausting straight to a window or something.

Quiet. The Neighbors Can Hear You (Sound Control Thread)

Unfortunately due to my post count, I can't post the link. But the stuff you want is Thermoflow Insulated Ducting. Pricey, but exactly what you're looking for.

    heat issues

Yes, if the tent has a hole for an intake, just leave it free and allow the exhaust fan to build pressure within the tent which will naturally pull in fresh air. What are your ambient temps like outside the tent?

    My light came in! Yay!

It's just a blurple light that's all... Not that it's bad, but it could be so much better. There's a lot of companies out there shipping relatively cheap COB or printed board lights that really aren't all that expensive. To each their own. That being said,iIt's a nice package, and will do the job.

Running oscillating lights, or less lights?

The ceilings are 9'. With all due respect, I disagree with your opinions on the DE's and the LED's. Not that I am any expert by any means, but I wholeheartedly disagree with your statement about moving to SE's. I think DE 600w would be a better idea than to run single ended bulbs honestly. Much...

Running oscillating lights, or less lights?

I suppose it's not a bad idea seeing as, as you say, I've already invested this much. I suppose if I later want to go all LED's (I do) it may prove to be a cost ineffective option. I've thought about stepping up the cooling. I'm basically unable to just cool 4 lights, so perhaps I would only...

Running oscillating lights, or less lights?

Hello everyone. Bit of a predicament here. I totally undersized my cooling. My mini split can't keep up with my DE room. I am running 12 open 1000w DE's. The room is fully sealed and I run a CO2 burner at 1200ppm. Room is 30x15, I'm running 3 custom built trays with plants filling them up...
