    Which paint for grow room?

I used a semi gloss pure white from Behr. Washable, mold resistant, looks fantastic and has amazing reflectivity.

Running oscillating lights, or less lights?

Funny that you say this. I just had to get my dehu going as I'm now pumping out big RH numbers. Wow, how things change overnight!!

what happens when the inline fan on a cool tube fails?

There ya go, this is exactly what I was waiting for someone to post. Here's some info that might help you sleep a bit better. https://www.reddit.com/r/hydro/comments/2bwygy/what_would_happen_if_my_1000w_bulb_were_to/ Melting point of glass is roughly 2800F. I think the point is, don't worry...

what happens when the inline fan on a cool tube fails?

This is a great idea! I'll be looking into that for myself.

what happens when the inline fan on a cool tube fails?

There's definitely no safety feature built into light bulbs which protect against damage. That being said, it's unlikely that a bulb will melt itself. The likely outcome of your cooling system failing is your plants being burnt to a crisp. In theory you could set up your light controller to...

Have A Plant Problem? Check Here First

Don't worry buddy. You don't have broad mites. Your leaves would be extremely glossy. Example of broad mite damage.

    New fan choice?

I just recommended this fan in the "Quiet" thread. I love my 10". https://www.amazon.com/Hyper-Fan-Stealth-Germination-Equipment/dp/B00S27SRI0/ref=sr_1_1?s=lawn-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1508358042&sr=1-1&keywords=hyper+fan+silenced I don't have any experience with the Vortex S-lines, and I haven't...

Quiet. The Neighbors Can Hear You (Sound Control Thread)

I just wanted to share with everyone a product which I am using which I highly endorse. Hyperfan Stealth: https://www.amazon.com/Hyper-Fan-Stealth-Germination-Equipment/dp/B00S27SRI0/ref=sr_1_1?s=lawn-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1508358042&sr=1-1&keywords=hyper+fan+silenced Digitally controllable...

    1 Fan, 2 filters

Great, hope it all works out for you! I would greatly recommend this fan in particular: https://www.amazon.com/Hyper-Fan-Digital-Mixed-Flow/dp/B00JGC7LC8/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1508357955&sr=8-2&keywords=hyper%2Bfan&th=1 Either the 6" or 8" model. It is digitally controllable, so you will be...

Ducting Co2 from outside is it likely I'll be detected?

I disagree with this. As others have stated here, and in my experience with "DIY CO2" in the aquarium hobby, the yeast method results in such an inconsistent and unpredictable CO2 creation that it really just isn't worth it. The hassle of bottled or propane based CO2 generation would be dwarfed...

    1 Fan, 2 filters

In my opinion, the second model in my image is the way to do it. Get one big filter, and a large fan. Hope the image makes sense to you.

Running oscillating lights, or less lights?

Yep, I've gone deep into Growmau5's content. I've literally watched every video, and most of the lives streams. The ChilLED tech lights are insanely expensive, but they are a small company so that's to be expected. I'll definitely look into the QB's. Do you have a link to that grow log?

Build a Small-Room/Buy a Box? (Smell is the Issue)

If you're so concerned about smell, I honestly don't understand why you are even debating the filter issue. Get something big and badass, and filter the living shit out of your air. Hell, get two filters even. Think about it. If you grew 2 oz per plant at 10 plants, that's over a pound of...

Quiet. The Neighbors Can Hear You (Sound Control Thread)

While this is true, the thermoflow is the best readily available insulated duct IMO. Extremely durable, almost impossible to rip, fire retardant, extra vapor barrier, etc.

Running oscillating lights, or less lights?

Thanks for sharing. My night time temps will be in the 50's and high-mid 40's into winter. I may be able to knock out another grow (after this one finishes) before Spring, but I'll likely try to phase in LED sooner and change up my set up significantly. Pop your head into my grow thread once...

    small Tent w/ 1000w hps

Depends what you are looking to spend. For the price of a new 1000 HPS fixture and electronic ballast, you might be able to get yourself into a high quality LED fixture which would blow you away. You may wish to head into the LED section for recommendations, as honestly I don't feel qualified...

Running oscillating lights, or less lights?

I most certainly don't disagree with adhering strictly to the VPD chart. I've had quite a lot of difficulty actually keeping my humidity high enough. Especially through veg. They are certainly starting to produce much more humidity being in the start of week 2 of flower, but still nowhere near...

    Heat Stress

Why can't you do the mini split install? It will solve all the issues you are having, and the air handler is such a simple install (literally just mount the bracket, screw down the 3 wires, and connect the two refrigerant lines. An air handler install should literally take less than an hour.)...
