Yellowing at the tips can mean nute burn. If the whole leaf is going yellow I believe its a N def. I know its confusing in the beginning. It also varies plant to plant and set up to set up. So many things can effect the plants its nuts

Thread jacked! 3 ft seems fine if they are seedlings, dont wanna get it too close 1000w mh is A LOT of light for a seedling. OP - 14 days is a lot better. I would be worried if that was 5 weeks, something wasnt adding up. Yes they look fine.

Just plain water shouldnt burn it. In flower you dont mist the buds. Can still mist the leafs

Take a step back. Research and set up a proper grow area with all requirments met. Its always better to start prepared. Sorry about your plant.
