how do you grow plants in soil if the lights i use just make them shrivel up? i have 2 500 watt hps bulbs 2 feet away from 7 two inch plants. the 2 on at the same time killed 4 plants and i turned off a bulb and even with one 500 watt bulb it still killed 2 more plants. now i just keep...

no i am saying that the cycles get shifted so if the power goes at 5 and the lights should be off at 8, when the power goes back on it resets the light cycle to 16 hours on starting from when it turns back on

thanks dude, and i was kinda very high when doing it.. not a good idea lol is the topped wrong plant going to grow higher? its been like 3 days and all that grew was the leaves not size :( theres no sign of growth either i used a butterfly knife and heat to sterilize the blade when cutting...

i trimmed basically all the big leaves and i topped the plant that looks like an xmas tree completely wrong.. now what?

thanks for the help guys! i threw in a nute and an airstone in there, i tied up the roots together with piece of plastic bag lol 1 problem.. i was trimming for better light and i definatly trimmed way to much.. they will grow back right?

well about 3 weeks ago i went on a week vacation, so 2 weeks ago i came home to a completely shriveled up 1 inch tall dead thing that when i added an aerograden starter nute to, grew that much in 2 weeks the lighting is the stock 3 aerogarden lights but its all i need for now

im using the three stock ag lights in the ag that are cfls 6500K

i have it on 18/6 light cycle, with stock lights but 4 white light lights (or whatever the flowering lights are i forget right now) waiting to be put in as for the temp and humidity the temp is around 75-80 i just poped a nute in there as well as raised the light a tad and took down the foil...
