The thing with those dispensary buds, no one probably really knows exactly how they were grown, so it is pretty much a guessing game. Plus, there are different variations of the same strain, White Widow for example, how many versions are there? Each will probably be different in density...

My guess, maybe the dispensary buds were HPS or LED grown, and that could contribute to denser buds compared to his fluoro grown buds. Nutrients could be a factor too.

The plant needs to eat. At least some cheap walmart nutes if you can't afford the good stuff..

I switched to coco about a year ago. Will never go back to soil again. If I decide to switch, it'll be DWC again, or another form or hydroponics.

That's about what I get with CFLs, 0.3-0.4 or so. It's a shame that a $650 light that is 300 watts can get outperformed by half as many CFL watts. LEDs are getting better though, major improvements over the last year. Now they need to improve on the price. And weed out the crappy Chinese panels.

I've always been content if I got 0.5 or better... I've yet to get 1.0, close, but not yet. I get 0.1 from my 300 watt HTG LED :D

I use LEDs and HPS, one thing you will find with 95% of companies that sell LEDs, they exaggerate the capabilities of the them. I still prefer LEDs, because they do run cooler, and require no ballasts, and they last a long time. LEDs do a decent job if you get a good one. I have an HTG LED...

I order from hempdepot.ca, and pay with an international money order. It takes about 2 weeks from the day I put the money order in the mail, until I receive my seeds. The $5 shipping makes up for the cost of the money order.

I always said flushing is for toilets. I tried flushing, and not flushing (in soil), and I noticed no difference in taste or the way it burns when smoked. I do believe it hurts yield though if you're not feeding your plant in it's last days, which when it swells up a lot, the last week or 2...

I do believe it is hurting business for him. I could build a website in like 2 hours. Apparently he hired some guy to do it like 6 months ago, and the site is supposed to be pretty nice. But 6 months.... Me and one other person built a forum, took our time doing it, and got done in 2 months.
