Are there drainage holes in the pot? What is the strength of the nutes when you do feed it? Does the pot seem lighter now after when you do water and feed it? Seems it may be root bound, feeding and watering would increase when that happens if you can't transplant.

I've tried flushing and not flushing. Have never noticed a difference. Other than lack of feeding them during that time which can hurt yield. It's an opinion thing though I guess. Some swear by flushing, some swear by not flushing. I after trying both ways, am going with it is not necessary...

Are you getting the coco yourself from the coconuts? There is a process I believe before it is usable for growing. Not sure what it is. I grow in coco, but it is store bought, and it is ready to use right out of the bag. I'm from an area where things were very limited in the gardening variety...
