black doesn't sound so good... I have a houseplant that the leaves turn black if the heat/air is blowing out of the vents directly onto the plant... Maybe it's something with the temps fluctuating? is there an on/off cycle?

Darkness for 2 weeks.....? I've never heard of that. That's a long time. Long enough to kill a plant. How would depriving a plant of its source of energy increase yield? Am I missing something?

I also do that when the trichs are not consistent (cloudy/clear/amber) on the top and bottom of the plant. Just leave it. You don't need to do anything. No bandaid needed :) Can you show us the bud you cut off? I wanna see!!!

Same height believe it or not. The clones were just pretty much single colas and the moms were like many many many colas. The clones actually took up the same amount of room too. Maybe a tiny bit more even. Crazy how they yielded the same right??

Update: Feb 21 2010 Three reveg plants are now showing new growth. #1 #2 #3 Some of the seedlings are looking mighty indica. They grew quite a bit. We'll see how they progress... :)

I personally don't believe in trimming live leaves. The leaves are used to collect energy to grow buds. Unless they are dry and shriveled, I don't touch them. *when cloning, I trim the larger fan leaves but that's a different scenario all together

Thanks man! I vegged the clones for a few weeks in 3,6 Liter square pots. The clones were about 4.5 Feet when they got chopped. Of course they stopped growing way before then but anyway... They were getting biobizz and only 2 feedings of biobloom. I got the biobloom way too late. I had to flush...
