Thanks for the reply, I opted for the growstones because I already had them, and the layer on top of soil supposedly prevents adults from laying eggs, and stops larvae from being able to get out so they end up dying, I'll definitely look into getting some de and maybe sticky traps if the problem...

Killed a few fungus gnats so I went ahead and top dressed in growstone, some leaf tips to the sides of the 2nd true set are coming out so things going steady.
