I have used sheet rock when I used to grow in dirt, but switched to octopots and I used plywood on the walls, with humidity and warm temps and six of those reservoirs full all the time I got away from the sheetrock because of mold problems around baseboards hope it helps

I use Cobb's to start plants then hang leds

Wrap the inside of a hose clamp with strip of electrical tape and put it around it till it heals, that work good for me

If I were in your shoes, first thing I would do is wait for rainy dark night, wear a ski mask just in case they have trail cameras go in check see if they are still there.
