Should I soak them in a glass of water? Or should I just do the wet paper towel method?

Ok. I need to run an exhaust on my cabinet. I have a 4" hole I cut in the top. I purchased some 4" duct to run off my exhaust fan. Obviously just putting the duct in the hole won't create a seal. I need to keep light from getting in the cabinet. Should I use some silicone? Possibly black silicone?

What does that mean? Sorry, but not understanding. THe white thing that is growing out of the seed. Does that point down?

Thanks! Saved me a fortune! Guess I'm going with the 100x I will use duct as well. I will mount the fan ontop my cabinet...run a 4" duct into the top to suck air out, and run a 4" duct off the exhaust side...i will then make a small box for the top of my cabinet to put it all in...obviously...

The room the cabinet sits in is quite large...and not sealed off from the rest of the house....it will get plenty of circulation im just saying if mount that fan i linked in top of my cabinet with exhaust pointing out will it still work well without any ducts hooked up?

Sounds good. Going to order that 250W HPS and give it a go. If it doesn't work out I'll just return it and go with some T5 system until I have a bigger space
