    Problem With Growth Outdoors.

If they look healthy and are getting good light then I wouldn't worry. They just need sometime to get established.

    Outdoor Odor

I don't know anything about ventalating a greenhouse, but you can plant fragrant plants and herbs around your greenhouse. This season I'm using mint, lavender, rosemary, and a jasmine scented nicotiana (tobacco) plant around mine. I used these last year (except the tobacco plant) and they did...

    Meat in the mix

Nice plants man, looks tasty. I love using compost in my gardens but had never heard about the method you used. I found the link you provided incredibly insightful-- thanks for sharing. Happy growing.

    Herbs

I use a few trays that are 15" x 9" x 3" and make small rows in the soil when germinating-- it doesn't have the individual cells. What you have will work just fine, I've used those as well-- you'll just have to transplant to something bigger sooner since those cells are really small. Make sure...

    Herbs

I typically use a tray for my seeds-- i just evenly distribute them throughout the tray. Once they germinate (sprout) and they're separated into their individual containers until they are established enough to plant in the garden (or where ever their final resting place is). Not all seeds will...

    Growing outdoor problems

I've lived in deer infested areas for years and physical barriers are the best deterrent against wildlife. I've heard stories from people on here who have had success with urine (human, and predator), hair, and some store bought methods too. I'm still a fan of fences, cages (can also be used...

Just took a walk thru my backyard

Fun pics FDD-- weeds growing with weed. The resiliency of MJ never ceases to amaze me. I'll be happy when spring is in full gear and this crazy weather clears out. Seems the whole country got a good beating by mother nature this winter. Stay warm, and happy growing. Cheers.

Trichromes first few days from seed start?

Yeah last season was my first experience with the Stevia plant and it's trichs Snew. I sun dried the leaves for about 12 hours and then used a coffee grinder until it was almost a powder. It can definitely leave some flakes, but at least you only need a little to sweeten drinks-- that...

    Outdoor Odor

It's all good until they flower. Every morning I'd open the greenhouse and the smell was like a punch in the face-- in a good way of course. Cheers.

Should I cage my outdoor plants to protect from....???

Yeah deer are such a giant pain in the ass bc they eat just about anything green. 2 seasons ago I had one jump the 8.5' fence around my veggie garden and ate everything. In my experience, tall physical barriers are the best preventative. But like gastanker said, you can use human urine, some...

Should i protect my roots with some wire?

I'm a little confused too. Roots should NEVER be exposed. If they get left in direct sunlight, really any sunlight, your plant will die. Roots need to be buried in dirt where they can bring nutrients to the plant, and if you're using containers make sure they're not clear. Hope that helps.

    2011 Veggies

That sucks you're a card holder that can't grow! Well veggie gardens are still a ton of fun, and you get some yield. I just picked up some more seeds to add to the garden: heirlooms tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, bell peppers, jalapenos, sweet basil, and artichokes. I've never grown artichokes so...

    Trippy drug myths

I know that with LSD it can actually be used to reduce the effects-- around 600mg. I'm not entirely sure with shrooms though, but if I had to guess I'd say you'd be better off leaving it out of a psychodelic cocktail. It seems to decrease absorbtion with many drugs. Back in my more drug...

Hey MC. I tried to + rep you back, and it wouldn't let me! I apparently need to spread some more love around. In due time man, cheers.

Trichromes first few days from seed start?

That sounds pretty unusual, but I'd love to see some pics! I've got a Stevia plant (natural sweetener), and it got real trichy early on. Happy growing people.

    How have i done fellas

Very nice man, still got some time but getting pretty close to harvest. Sounds backwards from where I'm growing-- I'm going to start germinating seeds in a few weeks. Congrats on some good looking bud.

How Much Will an Outdoor Plant Yield Without Any Nutes?

The thing with bagseed is you won't know if it's male or female until it flowers-- the seeds have already been genetically coded to be one or the other. I know people say there are ways to "make" it female, but it's in the genes long before it sprouts. I had 22 plants from bagseed germinate...

    Trippy drug myths

Vitamin C intensifying ecstasy is a pretty common myth. Long story short, ironically X is metabolized and processed quicker in the presence of Vit C. You might experience a quicker onset, but definitely a shorter roll. I've worked in medicine forever, and this myth always comes back around...

    2011 Veggies

I think raised beds are the way to go. I had a 2 X 15' X 20', and lined it with rock. That took some time but I think the hardest part was filling it. It's deceiving how much soil an area like that actually holds. I read somewhere that spiderplants are one of the most oxygenating...
