Tents are tents, IMO... as long as they are light proof and have enough utility for your needs in terms of vents and orfifices.

This has been my experience too, I had denser buds when using soil and HPS, now I'm on hydro and LED so I'm not exactly sure where i'm going wrong, but then I never really grow the same strain twice, so comparisons are very difficult for me!

Anyone got any info info on uk seed suppliers/ I usualy just buy fem/photo seeds direct from dutch passion, as they seem pretty consistent to me... But I'm on the hunt for 3 or 5 fem/photo seeds and dutch passion don't seem to have anything I really like the look of at the moment. I'm growing...

I just run 'sterile', as it's less variables for me to deal with... But you can't do both... it's one or the other...if you run sterile and get bad growth in your water, you can nuke it with peroxide or whatever... but peroxide will kill all bacteria, even beneficial bacteria if you are doing...

So you've basically 'topped' that branch... you will get some slower growth but it should in theory behave just like a topped main tip would. In other words, carry on as normal, but expect a slight slowdown in growth as it recovers from the stress.

Yeah basicaly they shouldn't ever realistacaly fail in your lifetime, unless abused/ run outside of spec.... the benefit of newer tech ones is they use less power, are more controlable, and don't make as much noise for a given rate of size/airflow.

I'm the same, very low key, small grow... I can't speak for that brand, but I have the below, and at full speed it's loud, but I've never needed to run it at more than 50-60% speed. Put it this way, my water pumps make more noise/vibration than my extractor fan.... and I'm just using...

better to go bigger than needed and run it on lower power, IMO. EC fans do get loud at full throttle, but still relativley more quiet than traditional fans like RVK's or whatever.
