Anyone running an " ac infinity " grow system ? Are the tents worth it or should I just get the extraction fan and controller ? And then purchase a different tent .... they're pretty pricey without a light so I'm summing and arrring

If you buy multiple ask of will do you a deal.
He's done me deals each time.

Comes pure and you mix it yourself in a spray bottle.
Do you use that dosage for a root drench too? 2.5ml makes a pint, my pots are 70l hahaha

Tents are tents, IMO... as long as they are light proof and have enough utility for your needs in terms of vents and orfifices.

From what I've read ac tents get well praised but I've not used one, I'd check out green qube for comparison with doors, bar diameter etc.

I used it at 1ml per ltr but I don't know where I got that dosage from. I think it was a research paper I found while randomly googling the fuck out of spinosad for fungus gnats.

Most dosages are for monteray or captain Jack's but that's already watered down, where this stuff isn't.
I belive he makes it himself

I have 3 tents in what I would call light, medium and heavy duty. The AC Infinity is heavy duty, 3 years no problems. The medium duty tent is obviously lighter duty but good enough, should last for years. The light duty tents zipper has already failed.

I've just discontinued my ac infinity veg tent, it held up well, like the viewing window, but tbh it's not the best I've used, the homebox ambient takes that spot. The fan and controller are game changing, it's not so much that the fan is the best it's more that the controller is but you have to use their fan with the controller, I don't rate their carbon filters though!

I have a 2x4 tent already the control that the system gives you is what is appealing to me .... im getting good results bud wise but I think I could get more yield with a tent that I can set at perfect environment I might just buy the controller fan and extraction set and use my own tent have to see

You will definitely get more yield if you can keep a stable environment, environmental control is huge, just make sure the fan is sufficient for your hottest summer day. If you get the controller 69pro you can add other bits of kit like a dehumidifier/humidifier/heater and the controller will turn them all on/off as and when needed, it also figures out vpd for you so you don't have to mess around with the chart, just bear in mind that the room temperature is different to the leaf temperature when calculating vpd so it's best to calibrate the controller with a leaf temp offset of say -1'c, you can use an infra red thermometer to accurately measure leaf surface temperature. You may not want to go to all this hassle and I grew mint green with mint yields for years before I knew about vpd, but it is a luxury that the ac infinity controller will afford you. If you get the Wi-Fi versions you can monitor your environment from anywhere in the world too! Cracking bits of kit honestly you won't regret buying it.

You sound like your on commission for ac infinity .... if I get a parcel thru the door I have to justify to the missis somehow

Hahaha it does sound like that, I wish I was, they could pay me in those big ec floor fans they sell for an arm and a leg, all jokes aside they've really brought precision automation to more growers at a much lower price point, before these we had to buy much more expensive controllers, just a min/max thermo variac fan speed controller for an old rvk was £100, these do so much more

It's been 6wks and more since I 1st posted about sealing the pots and bag, this week another gnat.

That helps explain why they're so fkg difficult to shake.

Tbf they're down from 100s on the trap to a few contained gnats without using poison or spending money I'm also hopeful of killing 100% but we'll see?

Have a nice weekend folk's :leaf:

Some decently priced leds about atm in the uk.

Has anyone seen these, you hook 1 or 2 regular digi ballasts upto it for 720w could be a good shout if ur just dipping ur toes into leds.

also these from one of the best manufacturers in the game, aimed more to the budget end ( for what you get)

And finally these, which I'm probs gonna get in the 1000w configuration

I've allways reccomended kingbrite from alibaba for the budget conscious as they use top components but waiting for them from china is a mission

lately after listening to migro and bugbee I'm leaning towards cheaper outlay high par vs higher outlay maximum longevity components.

It would be nice to have all the extra far red infra red and uva but it appears the best bang for the buck is just more par, higher intensity does more for yield and frost than the extended spectrum according to the experts
The omegas are really good, tbh even now I always reference back to Shane’s reviews on Migro to use as I guide lol

They've been going downhill for a month I'm surprised they're even growing tbh.

A sign of the mild weather nasturtiums are still growing.

The 1st proper frost finishes them, I like nasturtiums you get lots of colour throughout summer with low maintenance.

Have a nice weekend!
My roses and sweet peas are still flowering now mate, outdoors next to the shed lol god knows y but I’m not complaining lol

Im amazed the plants are doing so well with so little oxygen if they are sealed completely shut?

Im sure you’ll get on top of it just the hardy buggers left imo lol
