    Leaf problems

Im growing in my own coco & soil mix. My plants are doing fine. I use dry amendments, not liquid fertilizers. Im watering once every 4 days, spring water that is 7.8 ph. I think your plant prefers a lighter dose of N. Ive seen that happen to a few plants that are light feeders. Your soil PH is...

    Weird Pheno or Issue

It looks like a deficiency. That plant might require a different dose of nutrients.

F3 Valley Ice. (Matanuska x SFV OG)

Today I chopped down the SFV OG. Found about 5 grams of bud rot. She was ready. Massive plant. Also, it seems I did pollinate one of the lower larf buds. I found a branch that I labeled. There's around 60 seeds all together on that bud. I will backcross one of the males to the clone/mother of...

Is everyone having trouble getting rid of their weed

This book seems appropriate to mention.

Good genetics and any phosphorus fertilizer.

    I messed up so mad

Ive read that water curing the flowers extracts potential toxins. I dont have any experience with water curing, but it seems like something worth investigating in this case. Below is an overview of water curing. "Water curing is a method of curing cannabis that involves soaking the buds in...

    Blaze & Daze

Ive done this to my mother plants many times. It takes 2-3 weeks before they bounce back and push new growth. Root pruning is a common bonsai technique that can be used for most household plants, including cannabis. :blsmoke:

Can you tell how good the weed is just by looking at it?

I trust my nose and eyeballs. If it doesn't pass those two simple tests, then its not worth ingesting. I smoked brown seeded brick weed when I was in middle school. It got me really stoned. By the time I got to high school, the streets were flooded with "chronic" (seedless indoor bud). Im...
  9. Farmer's Hat

    Blaze & Daze

Im planning to raise up the seedling pots in a day or two. I might have to lollipop and or prune some of the taller plants.

    Blaze & Daze

Good afternoon everyone. All that deli talk gave me some serious cravings. There is a local bakery called Blue Heron, its been around since 1977, basically OGs in this town. They make the best kalamata olive sourdough bread. Im going to pick up a fresh loaf today. Sandwiches for lunch and...

    Fungus gnats? Try these

Thank you for the advice.I will do that. Also, it just so happens that I do a very similar thing when I top dress with dry amendments.

F3 Valley Ice. (Matanuska x SFV OG)

MTF manicured. Strong pineapple aroma. Nice bag appeal, virtually no trimming involved. When I sampled the hash of this plant I felt it hit my body really hard. This is a sit down and chill high, for sure. This phenotype is consistent and easy to find in a few seeds. Im going to stabilize it...
  15. Farmer's Hat

F3 Valley Ice. (Matanuska x SFV OG)

Manicured Valley Ice pheno #2. The foxtail structure of the flower suggests that its going to be a hard hitting sativa. The purple has turned more into a lavender. Smells sweet with sour diesel. Incredibly frosty. Im going to make sure that I have no plans on the day I sample a joint of this...

    Fungus gnats? Try these

Have you tried Diatomaceous earth? Im testing it tomorrow for the first time. The gnats in my 2x2 tent are sparse. I see a few when I water, then they disappear until next watering.
  17. Farmer's Hat

    Blaze & Daze

Has anyone used Diatomaceous earth in their potting mix, to kill or prevent fungus gnats? I will be using it for the first time tomorrow. Im seeing a few gnats on and off. They seem to die off when I let the soil dry out, and then come back after I water the plants. I didn't have this issue...

How is the product holding up? Are the gnats gone?

    1212 Seed Company

I always pollinate the lower larf branches. Use the sandwich bag method. Place pollen in bag, wrap it around the bud, shake it. Leave the bag on there for 2 days. Humidity will destroy pollen that wasn't used. Ive used this pollinating method for years.
