Yeah, dark helps keep growth to a minimum. I found in a still reservoir with Maxi, Ca/Mg and a little Drip Clean you do get a little bio-scum at about a week. I never found it did anything harmful, but when I empty the tank, I'd always wipe it down and get rid of what I could.

Yeah, it's effective. I decarbed in-pod...I don't like to pack 'em and use two of the little silicone spacers at the bottom if each pod. I then finger-crumbled it down to powder after putting the screen and agitator in. Then added the coconut oil and let it infuse for a a handful of hours.

It sort of sits on that metal grommet in the center rather than the screen, so it doesn't seem to get extra friction you'd suspect. Even my mix was super dense given the small amount of oil and the fair quantity of cannabis.

I did this the other day with 19g of flower and 1/4 cup of coconut oil...worked perfectly. The screen is a press fit in the chamber and the agitator does indeed still function.

If you're going to FIM, really read up and look at multiple examples of how to do it. Its a fussy thing to do just right and it needs to be just right to have it work. I did it on 3 plants once and I think one of those came out well. Way easier to top and re-top as needed.

Did you intentionally snip your new upper/inner growth or is there a bunnie in your room? And in coco, I think you want to water to saturate each time.

So roughly 4ml per gallon of Ca/Mg? That seems high to me. I add 1-2ml per gallon to water that's been filtered down to 0ppm...then whatever is included in my nutrients.

Is it more decaying than curing? Maybe superating?

The claim that autos are in flower and also in veg at the same time is something I've never heard anyone state. I don't believe this is correct.
