Well for a start lumen output sucks really bad , and the spectrum of it blows chunks . Overall it's a piece of shit. Seriously though forget that bulb, heat issue's.....drop your wattage or better yet buy a cool tube. And just veg and flower with a hps.

With 6 inch inline's I just sit them in the socks of the tent. Hood ducting fan. Here's a pic of my tent with 2 6 inch fans mounted in the socks.

Yeah it's true they do pull a hell of a lot better. But they won't last, well they might but I doubt it. I included a pic of ones I have used.(yours may be a better brand) I used them on the exhaust of 2 400w cool tubes they lasted about a couple of months before the bearings start to seize...

Use a complete feed and forget about micro nutes.

If you use those fans on the exhaust side of your cool tubes they won't be able to handle the heat and will fail.

I would have to agree with Jordan293, I have a couple 400w lumateks there coming upto the 4 year mark. Never missed a beat, I wouldn't have any problems recommending them. Not to mention they carry a 5 year warranty. And what's this shit your spreading that there not ul listed, nothing but...

I did a test on a 430w hps bulb dimmed to 250w, also tested a 250w hps as a comparison. One picture shows 430 and 430 dimmed, the other is 430 and 250w bulbs. Edit the 250w and 430w bulbs are different manufactures.

My current grow has used hps all the way. And what's even more odd is that I like it more than a mh for veg. Edit added a pic, end of veg and current

I hate to point out the obvious but that side by side grow doesnt prove anything. The hps in that so called "side by side" isn't limited by the light but by 4x4 space. I'm not sure why everyone thinks a 1000w hps in a 4x4 space is a good way to grow, because it isn't you can't expect to just...
