Will P rich Bat guano be sufficient as an amendment to increase yield?

    That's not a K deficiency, that's a lack of N.

    Which elements are responsible for...

In my experience... Stem growth = nitrogen Strong stems = potassium In my experience, silica has more of an affect on the leaves than anywhere else. Overdo it (5mls/gal of protekt) and your leaves become brittle.

    Which elements are responsible for...

Per their website, it looks like it would take 560g of potassium silicate to make a gallon of Protekt. Am I reading that correctly?

Factor in cost and it's worth a switch to literally any other food on the market. AN is maybe the worst possible choice.

My write up is done, I just need to take some photos. If I'm being honest, I'm slammed right now and this is at the bottom of my list of things to do. It's the holidays. It just is what it is.

    Nutrients...

All the foods on the market, more or less, are using the same ingredients. So brands don't matter, it's the mineral content and ratios that are important.

The results should be posted in a couple of days. The flowers are dried, cured, and the final numbers are in....

Mega Crop vs Dyna-Gro comparison grow

I like DynaGro's Foliage pro and bloom because they're very concentrated and don't need supplementation. Those two bottles give me the versatility and ease of use that I want for peat and hydro. As others have stated though, brands don't matter. What really matters is the ratio and amounts of...

Brand of what? I use GW when putting cuts into rockwool but nothing goes in my res. If someone is having issues with growth in their res then bennies can be a great way to control them.

Nothing. I personally don't have an issue with blooms or growths in my reservoirs.

Mega Crop vs Dyna-Gro comparison grow

That's basically what I do except I use foliage pro instead of Grow. These days I start out with roughly a 1:4 FP/Bloom and move to 100% bloom after the stretch. If the plants need more N then I'll add a touch of FP to the mix. I also use floralicious+ throughout. I've also messed with...

    Bigger yields

If this is what you think you're seeing then it sounds like you're lacking wattage or space or both. Bigger plants yield more. There is no arguing against that, unless you're cramming too many big plants under weak lights. Are you growing under LEDs by chance?

    Bigger yields

By your rationale, a plant will stop growing once said plant has filled its container with roots, which is not true.

Advanced Nutrients a scam? (Haters gonna hate)

I don't think anyone is 'hating', they're just informing beginners that AN makes watered down, over-priced plant food.

Advanced nutrients or fox farm for better buds

Believe it or not but all these companies are essentially using the same mineral salts as one another, they're just packaging them a little differently. So as long as you're comparing inorganic bottles to inorganic bottles, the only real difference is the actual balance of minerals they are...

Mega Crop vs Dyna-Gro comparison grow

The same 'early signs' of a 'deficiency' at harvest, after they've been fed the same food at the same EC for the previous 9 weeks? lol :wall: What you're really looking for is someone that'll agree that it's the plant food's fault and not yours. No one is saying that you're not doing a good job...

Mega Crop vs Dyna-Gro comparison grow

Yep, you're right. It's your super special combination of lights, media, and food, that makes you and your garden a special little snowflake. And your plants are so special that even when given bountiful amounts of the essential elements, they still somehow show deficiencies.
