How long would seeds possibly be viable for if they've been kept in sealed plastic, 70 - 80 degrees F on average (indoors). Any guesses? Years I would assume but I've no first hand experience. Anyone ever try to germinate seeds that were 5+ years old?

If the amount you need to top off with every 24 hours is any serious fraction of the total reservoir size, I'd put that high on my list of potential causes for the pH fluctuations. Especially if this is something that just really started later in the grow. The plants can really start sucking up...
