I think you should add some cal/mag or epsom salt and up the nutrients a little. You should be using more than 1/4 strength unless they're really strong nutes. Try using regular water too and not distilled.

No its not. My plants dont yellow during flowering. Give them more nitrogen to stop the yellowing.

Yes, you should be giving them nutes. I used ocean forest for a couple grows and didn't worry about ph'ing the water...so doubt that is it.
