It will shut it off but the t6 will only stay off for about 10 min then it has to work on your climates. Or u can set auto then lower ur max climate so it kicks in a little sooner or later vise versa .... but then u have to worry about ur humidity being in the mid. 50’s I also bought this. And...

Best way is to not use the alarm setting mode but the auto mode and (leave it on the auto mode don’t click out of it ) with only creating a high for them and a high for humidity. Then it will do what u want it Weill adjust the fam speed automatically.
