I was watering a little sooner than when bone dry, and i ended up with fungus gnats. So i had to get even more strict. Or maybe a few fungus gnats are acceptable?
Would that cause the leaves to take on this appearance? I let my plants go super dry b4 watering, and my leaves look this way on some of my plants too. Figured it was a toxicity/lockout issue.
All i know is one time i broke a main stem almost completely off. Duct taped it with the sticky side facing out. Two days later i took a peek and the stem looked like nothing happened. Then it grew a big fat cola the size of a milk jug.

So...could use some opinions on where to go from here.
I know these plants aren't perfect, and some may find them laughable, but still i think the colors are beautiful.
For the record: Watered when completely dry (every other day more or less).
