A 150 watt hps is only good for the seedling stage...you need at least 400 watts of hps to get good results...I pull 12-14 zips from a 400. in a 4x4 that is .

Looks like you , tried to love them to death, if in ground and it's red clay you will need to amend the potting hole next time and don't overwater or over nute.

Are you folar feeding? if so cut the nuts to about 1/4, other than that water the soil and not the plant, spraying the plant invites PM.

Your right about the nuts, MG works fine on the cheap I just like organic myself and yes heat is an issue in tents but a good inline fan does wonders for that, but the one thing the person needs is better lighting...that alone will take him/her light years ahead if this grow

I would stay away from plastic pots...except for the seedling stage a 1 gl pot works very well then transplant into its final pot and fabric pot work the best for me.

Under your conditions...not a bad first grow, your learning. You really need to get better lights, as said before a good 400-600 watter will do wonders for your grow, a good tent goes a long way too, also bigger pots, I do 15 gl in my tent...good nuts is a must, I use DR Earth, it is costly but...
