    1st grow

4gl pots might be a tad bit small, they will work, but I would go with at least 7gl pots, 10 would be even better. The CFL's are a good start but if you could do a 400watt hid lamp, I think you would be happier with your results...don't forget to use fans to keep the air moving ...don't blast...

    off grid electricity

Understood, but your still not going to get the full 250 watts out of a 250 watt rated solar panel and the OP isn't planning on using a tracker as far as I know

    off grid electricity

It sounds like your planning on getting 100% efficiency out of the wind and solar....NOT EVER GONNA HAPPEN!!! you can slash 20% off solar right off to bat as you will never have 100% optimal conditions (like in a Lab) then you have dirt getting on the panels and degradation over time....and wind...

    off grid electricity

I would get a second opinion on that wind speed ask what wind speed will give you the 400 watts ( my bet is around 28 mph ) and the lowest mph wind speed for it to start producing SOME power ( most are ~6-8 mph) I have never heard of one as low as 2mph...what brand? I would like to look this up

    off grid electricity

One thing to keep in mind is, a 400 watt wind turban is rated at a 28 mph wind speed, so the lower the wind speed the lower watts you will get. Also a generator should only be used at half the rated output lets say you need 2500 watts, then you would actually need one rated at 5000 watts...you...

    Poor mans grow..is it mold??

The stretch should be pretty much done and they might put on another inch or two, but that should be it...I also concur that your baby's will still need ~ 5 or 6 weeks to finish.
